Solid wood Very fun for 2 year old for pouring rice Worth the money but wish the tongs were better constructed Tongs broke instantly, very fragile, not well made. Glue used was not sticky enough Not made for water The size is pretty small but works well for what we needed it for.

Perfect for sensory play and fine motor skills
I got this to use for sensory play with my toddler and it’s been such a good addition to our activities. He loves scooping, digging, and using the different tools, and it actually keeps him focused for a good amount of time which is always a win in our book. I love that it encourages fine motor skills and independent play, but still feels fun to him. We’ve used it with pom poms and other sensory setups and it works great. Definitely one of those simple things that we keep coming back to. A must buy for any Montessori playroom/classroom and there’s so many possibilities 🫶🏻
