These are exactly what I have been looking for. When I go to the barbers, they all seems to use the andis t-outliner from America. It uses 110 volts so needs a step up transformer. Everyone acts like those are the best. Yes they are good, but these superliner cuts in exactly the same way. In fact, I think these are better because of the detachable blade and it does not need and voltage adjustments. The power cord is very long and is quite robust. It very rarely need oiling (oven thought its good practice to do this often) and I cut my hair one every week. I've had it now for almost a year and it is still as good as new. It cut very close and is excellent for detailing.

The Andis Close cut superliner trimmer works extremely well, it is easy to make sharp beard lines and the beard attachments combs works also very well. /Bjarne

Since the beginning, I have been a wireless trimmer user for around 7 months. I thought that I am using the best sharp, and close cutting trimmer, but I was wrong! First I was using Braun Face Cruzer 6, which sucked! Then, bought Remington MB4040. Which was OK, but doesn't give nice detailed lines, which made me go with wired trimmers. After using the Remington for 7 months, it paid for itself, and more. So, I decided to go with more powerful tool. Andis Superliner, WOW. For people who only used wireless trimmers, you guys are missing a lot! The Power of the motor, and the sharpness of the blade are stunning. One pass, and all the hair is gone! I remember with my old wireless trimmers. One pass was NOT enough. Outlines were bad! I had to go over and over on the same spot to get that clean cut, but with the Superliner, maximum is 2-3 passes depending on how you use it, and the area you are detailing or shaving, and the cut is cleaner than them! Before, I didn't had a beard, but now with the outlines they cut, I have a beard with an amazing lining. It does get worm, but not hot at all. I used it for about 15-20 minutes, between switching it off, and on. So, the issue with the T-Outliners getting hot is solved with Superliners. The blades are the new blades, not the original version, which was harder to zero gap " Original Blades ". The new blade is easier. Now, my remington MB4040, and braun Face Cruzer 6 are inside my drawer, while the superliner is setting on his Throne :) I uploaded pictures for the product. Pros: - Detailing precise. - doesn't get hot, but worm, which is not annoying at all, for me. - Supports 110v-220v, only this model, which is " 4820 ". - Came with Attachments: 1/16" - 1/8" - 1/8" - 3/8". It's plastic, but rigid plastic, not flimsy. - 3 Wall plugs: SAA Plug - Europe Plug - UK Plug. - Cord is about 2 meters long, Or 6.6 feet long. - Ergonomic design, which is comfortable to hand, and use. - Blade is very close to the non moving blade. - Is not loud. My remington MB4040 is louder, and doesn't cut as precise as this one :] Cons: - Zero gapping the blade needs practice, and patience :P - It's wired :D Maybe from a barber perspective, since he used many trimmers, and clipper, he will Criticize it. But, from me " A person who shave him self at home " This product is overwhelming! I think this product is barber grade product. Recommendations: Will there are many conflicts between many trimmers: " T-outliners " - " Wahl Detailer " - " styliner II ", and many. I haven't used them, It's been all wireless before this product. But, for the superior sharpness and details, 220v support, attachments, and wall plugs. I recommend this product for the performance it delivers, and If you travel outside US. Don't forget to oil your blades. They will be around for years. So take care of your high quality Superliner! #UPDATE 06/06/2014: How to Zero Gap the blade. Steps: 1- Detach the blade. 2- Unscrew the two screws to 90 degree angle. 3- Position the blade on a flat surface " Mirror ". 4- Angle the blade 75 degree - 85 degree to the moving blade side, and push the moving blade down so that it align with the non moving blade. 5- Screw the blade CAREFULLY. Don't move the hand that holds the blade, so that you get an even result. If this worked for you then you are lucky. Many would get one side perfect, and the other side would be overlapping with the non moving blade. 6- unscrew the side that is overlapping just a tiny bit " Less than 45 degree ". Don't unscrew it too much, so that you get precise movement of the blade, and get your blade to the desired place. 7- With your naked eye adjust the side that is overlapping till you get the result that you wish for. 8- CAREFULLY, screw it back again. Now your blade is zero gapped. If overlapping occurred, then go back to step 6 to 8, until you get the desired result. With skill, you'll need 2 minutes maximum to accomplish this method. This is the video that helped me. Andis video was NOT helpful at all. Too much talk without real demonstration! Amazon seems to not allow external links. So, go to YouTube, and type " Andis Superliner adjusting freestyle ". #UPDATE 09/07/2014: Caution when Zero gapping the blade! I have done it so close that I did a very great shave with it. When I finished shaving, my face was RED from the blade cutting me. Didn't feel the pain while it happened, but after the shave it really gets itchy, and uncomfortable! So, When zero gapping the blade, you would think that it is perfect, but it might not be. I suggest using it on your hand, and wait to see it if it's RED or not. If there is not redness. Then, use it on your face on only one spot, then wait seconds and check. Having your face RED, and itchy is not fun xD So, be careful with adjusting the blade :)
