This clear acrylic organizer is very handy for makeup and bathroom items, although I could see it being used for a desk as well. The clear design lets me easily what I have, even toward the back. It has lots of compartments of different sizes. The 2 tallest ones in the back could fit makeup brushes or pens (I put sharpies in my picture, for reference). The large front compartment is roomy enough for creams or lotions. The compartment in the very back is not deep, but it is wide. The rest are square, and meant for lipsticks, although they can also hold glosses, eye pencils, eye shadow sticks, and more. This is sturdy and I see it lasting a long time. It's not the easiest to clean, with all the compartments, but a little brush helps with that.
