I’ve been using DeWalt 20 volt products and batteries for a long time now, and Ive never had a premature failure. My 2 oldest batteries were used in my lawn equipment and lasted about 8 years before they gave it up. That’s pretty comes out to less than $10 per year. That’s pretty good! I hope these new ones will hold up just as well…if not, I’ll update this review.

These are decent batteries. Bought a new saw so I needed these. Delivery was quick. Paired nice with the bag. But the bag was on the small side. So used the bag for a different tool. Highly recommend this seller. Would buy again from this seller.

Frankly, I was somewhat disappointed when I originally bought my DeWalt Combo Drill Motor and Reciprocating Saw in the tough as nails Clam-Shell Case, as DeWalt hid the fact that the batteries were NiCad based. The tools proved to be quite good and durable but eventually the NiCad batteries failed due to NiCad memory problem and the way tools are naturally used. I discovered that DeWalt had started offering a Lithium Ion battery replacement adapter and batteries for those tools that I refused to buy replacement NiCad batteries for. Too expensive for how long they in fact lasted before failing. With the adapter and the LiOn batteries my DeWalt tools are breathing new life again and have become my go-to tools again. However, the adapter once it is snapped on to the tool is virtually impossible to remove, but more importantly is the fact that that so long as the battery is attached the battery is draining although the tool isn't being used and the reason for that state of affairs is due to the fact the DeWalt is using a three terminal electronic 'pass regulator' IC to adapt the higher voltage battery down to the NiCad voltage level used by the tool and there is no OFF switch. So one must either remove the battery when not being used or expect to recharge the battery priort to usage having been stored attached to the tool. Beyond that inconvenience, I have found that the LiOn battery adapter and batteries to be a great DeWalt buy. And the little bag is so well made, what is there not to like about it? I am pleased again with DeWalt (although they really need to stop hiding specs, its cheesy business) Recommendation: It is a good buy.

I have had this product for a number of years now. No Complaints, works as intended 😉. Always been a Dewalt Fan and have used both big red and big yellow for years. Taken care of, will last most of your life. In the construction industry it will give you many years of use.

I have a couple sets of Dewalt drills and impacts that I use for various things around the house. Recently, I picked up a project car and have been using my tools a lot more than before, so I was needing additional batteries. After doing some looking around and reading reviews, I went ahead with this set and very happy I did! I am not only using these on my 20v tools, but also my 18v with the 18v to 20v Dewalt adapter. Here's a few pros/cons for these batteries: Pros: - Good quality: These are good quality batteries. I have been able to use these almost all day when working on the car. - Battery charge indicator: These have a battery charge indicator on them that helps you know how much charge is left. That is especially nice if you are using them away from the charger. - These worked well with the 18v to 20v adaptor. Cons: - Price vs alternative brands: These are expensive. If you are not using your tools often, these may not be worth the extra cost vs. an alternative brand Other: - Carry case: While this is a nice addition to the package, I really am not sure what I'll use it for. I think I'd have rather had some money off, but some people may like to have this for their tools. Mine will probably end up on a shelf somewhere. If you are someone that is using your Dewalt tools often, you might want to consider getting the name brand set. These have been working well for me, lasting nearly a day from full charge, and have held up to some abuse. I'd recommend these for sure! If you are someone that does not use their tools often, just for some "around the house" tasks and need replacement batteries, I'd say look for an alternative with good reviews. These are pricey and may not be worth spending that extra $50-$75 more.

These are excellent batteries for extended use. If I run my DeWalt XR weed trimmer on high speed, I get roughly 25 to 30 minutes on a full charge with these 20 V max batteries. Please note that these are not the XR batteries, even though a few XR units are shown in the product description photos. The XR surpasses the max, however, these max batteries are fantastic and this is a great deal for two additional batteries, a charger, and a carrying bag.

Con este par de batería de repuesto que vende DeWalt, ya no tendrás pretexto para terminar tus trabajos, porque además de que les dura mucho la carga, podrás poner a cargar la otra batería mientras trabajas. Delivered early and a great price for these 20v LI 5 AH batteries and charger @ $202.00 Canadian for the pair. The bag is a bonus. I looked through reviews prior to my purchase and someone mentioned they received non XR batteries. I was somewhat concerned about that but these are XR. They’re way more battery than the 1.5 AH batteries I was using on my 20v Dewalt tools. Home Depot was about $340 Canadian dollars just for the two batteries alone.. Very pleased and again a very good deal for the price.
