Great success for our lawn with 2 female dogs.
We have two female dogs and the picture on the left is what our yard looked like last May (2024) before we found out about dog rocks. We ordered dog rocks at the time and after about 5 weeks noticed the burn marks got a lot better, but the damage was done. This year, I ordered dog rocks in late March so my dogs have been drinking dog rocks water for about 6 weeks. The picture on the right is what our yard looks lije today. There is ONE single burn mark in my yard that I can see. Same two dogs, same routine. The only difference is we were on top of it this year with the dog rocks! We live in wet western WA so only need it for around late March through Oct. Basically for the months you would be weed and feeding your lawn. Highly recommend. We keep the rocks in a pitcher that is filled overnight to charge the water. Then fill their water bowls from the pitcher in the morning. Both dogs drink water like there’s no difference in taste.

TOXIC!! MADE MY DOG SICK! BEWARE!
Read through these reviews carefully before you risk buying these! We started using these rocks exactly as directed on the bag and within a day our dog had horrible diarrhea, throwing up, loss of appetite, lethargy, and confusion. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize it was the rocks within that first day, we thought he had gotten Norovirus as he’s had it before with some similar symptoms. So we waited it out. FOUR DAYS LATER we were stumped and ready to take him to the vet. His symptoms were as follows:He was waking up several times in the night rushing for the door and barely making it out with horrible diarrhea and he threw up several times in the night (he has slept through the night since 3 months old, never waking to use the bathroom). He was running outside every 2-3 hours with runny, mucus diarrhea during the day . My dog LOVES his food, never misses a meal, super food motivated and he was barely touching it. He’s also been bell potty trained since the very beginning with NO accidents in the house ever and he was acting so strange “forgetting” to ring his bell and just standing absently at the door. He wouldn’t even bark at the door, he’d just stand there and then walk around confused. He pooped inside twice and peed three times, all within the same area right near the door (we think since he didn’t ring it we didn’t realize he needed to go out and so he just went inside). This was truly the strangest thing because he has seriously been a dream dog potty training wise, very smart, and never had an accident or intentionally gone inside even as a very young puppy. It was an AHA moment that his symptoms coincided with the rocks and after finding a few other reviews hidden way down mentioning similar symptoms I immediately pulled the rocks from his water and cleaned/disinfected his bowl. Removed rocks at 1PM and by 7PM dinner he was eating like normal. He woke up at 4:30AM with a semi-runny poop (longest stretch in 5 nights). The next day he still stood at the door by his bell so I started working with him on the command we trained him with as a new puppy and by mid-day he was back to ringing it. We haven’t had another indoor accident since (its only been 4 days). Lastly, his poops finally returned to solid form by the end of the evening on that following day from removing the rocks.PLEASE PLEASE USE WITH CAUTION, and my advice is to avoid completely! I know there are a ton of “success” reviews but this was the most insane experience we’ve had with our dog. I am so upset with myself for having not read through the reviews more carefully, especially after finding reviews that mimicked our exact experience! I am so glad our guy seems to be doing better and I hope we don’t have any lasting negative affects. BUYER BEWARE.

A game changer for green grass
I am thrilled with the results. These little rocks work wonders in preventing thos unsightly yellow spots caused by our pups urine. Our grass is green again and looks heatlier than ever! It's simple, just toss the rocks in the dog's water bowl and let the magic happen. Within a few week I started to notice an improvement in our lawn. It's such a relief to see our yard looking green again.

Mostly Effective for Large Dog
These are effective in helping to keep the amount of brown spots down, if you water a lot. For our large dog, they mostly do the trick but he still kills the grass where he has a large pee spot sometimes. They are pretty pricey for what they are, but helpful and better than nothing.

Great idea, not sure it works
I love the idea and it doesn't get much easier. Unfortunately, my dogs didn't really like the rock in their water. It took about a day and a half before they were somewhat comfortable drinking with the rock in the water. Then about a week in, my beagle simply took it out and spit it out on the other side of the kitchen. I tried a few times putting it back, and each time, he picked it up and spit it out somewhere else in the kitchen. That ended that experiment.

They Work!!!
They Work!!! I was very skeptical about this item, but I tried it at the beginning of last fall. As winter set in, I did not see much change in the quality of my lawn. However, following the spring thaw and reconditioning my yard, there is much improvement. The grass has recovered beautifully, and I have yet to experience urine burn from the dogs.
