Order the right size. These are great.
Cat fishermen should get the XL. I use medium-heavy catfish rods, rated 1-6 oz (Whisker Seekers and Berkley E-cat), and the first time I ordered the size Large, they were too small. Get the XL for your larger catfish rods.It was a little tricky at first to get the clips on because the gap between where the clip and the long part meet is narrow, so but I recommend you just open them up a bit before sticking them on the rod. They lasted all night, which is all I need. They were plenty bright to see down the bank about 30 or 40 yards away. These, combined with a bell, will keep you from missing any bites at night. Highly, highly recommend.

Night Fishing?
Fishing "Glow Sticks" are impressive. They just attach to the tip of your rod and they never fall off. I enjoy catfishing at night and these Fishing "Glow Sticks" are a must-have. The moving "Glow Sticks" allows you to see that a fish is hooked, and can be seen from a distance. You always know what your fishing rod is doing with these impressive "Glow Sticks".Must-have for your tackle box.Sincerely,Howard Venuto

Perfect!
Love these little light sticks. They were the perfect solution for me. I already had bells, so I didn't need a combo unit; this give me the flexibility to use just a light or hang a bell with it. A simple twist pops one of these bad boys onto the tip and I'm ready to roll. Update after trying one...even better! I cracked one of these to examine the bore on a newly acquired muzzleloader, as my .50 caliber light wouldn't fit into a .45 caliber muzzleloader. Worked great! And, while not at peak light the entire time, it was bright enough to use for THREE consecutive nights! Wow!
