Appears to be a correct replacement
Pull the bottom cover, unscrew three small philips screws holding the old fan, get it out, blow through the grill (from the outside in) to remove the accumulated dust, put the new fan in, tighten the screws, replace the cover. Five minutes total. This is the third fan in this laptop. Previous one was installed in... 2018, I think. Let's hope the replacement will serve for another five years.

Got the Job Done
I though I had a bad unit at first because it made a little bearing/ticking noise but after a few minutes breaking it in running at full speed it went silent and has been silent ever since. Five stars if not for the initial few minutes of "did I get a bad one?" I would buy it again.

The fan in my HP laptop suddenly died. An OEM version of the fan was available for $80. This fan not only was much cheaper, but it was an exact match and was perfect.
