My little dishwasher's hose has a mind of its own. Add that to my no longer having energy to sacrifice pushing & pulling my D/W on its cart to the kitchen sink. Of course, Alexander's fascination w/running water necessitates somehow stabilizing the hose head. Oh, yes, & my apartment is small, so that brown bucket had to be replaced w/one allowing opening the adjacent pantry closet door while the D/W is running. While some of us will find these clamps tough to open one-handed, it can be done, & their grip is such that they'll never slip out of place. They're well worth their price & have allowed me to solve all my energy & convenience problems. Once I found the narrower bucket in bisque—to join the all-white color scheme on that side of my small kitchen—I absolutely needed to keep the wayward end of the hose pointing safely downwards when unattended. Duct tape was looking good until the steamy heat rising from 5L of hot water by a 1.5-hour cycle's end sent the hose clattering to the floor & me dashing to the kitchen to wipe up the hose's remaining still HOT water. My two 4-inch stainless-steel vintage spring clamps weren't enough to safely restrain the hose. Not to mention that after nearly 30 years of use, my tool carrier lacks the space for 4 superfluous 6-inch clamps. Enter Mr. Pen's TWO Spring Clamps offering & my vintage 4-inch stainless-steel spring clamp. Notice how well that combo clamps the pointing-DOWNWARD-head of said wayward hose in Rubbermaid's narrow, 14qt (note the red arrow & the water level) bisque bucket. These heavy-duty clamps, whose clamping ends can be secured w/whatever adhesive you have on hand (E-8000 worked quickly & well for me), will likely outlive me. They & Rubbermaid make dishwashing even more convenient & I have no qualms about recommending them.

These are strong ! However I'm a 70 y.o . Man and I can fully open them several times with one hand. The rubber tips and handles are nice but could be thicker. 5 stars anyway because the rubber thing is just my opinion. Comes with a lifetime warranty card not advertised, sweet ! Now I'm going to see what else mr. Pen sells.

It clamps for sure however the grips on the clamp portion and the handle constantly slip off.

Great strong and sturdy clips with a strong grip. I use them to hold a fabric backdrop into place and the hold capacity was great!
