I love this stuff. They both taste fantastic. Either add as you go or just pour it on the top at the end. Both ways work, but add as you go means you get more syrup, so that's my preferred method. Even the carmel flows like any other chocolate syrup, no mess, no fuss. They're fine to mix and match. One layer one, one layer the other, or just pour both on at the end. They will blend somewhat, but they're viscous so unless you make an effort to mix them, they'll mostly stay distinct. Personally I don't use them for chocolate syrup. I know a lot of people do use chocolate syrup for that. I find an actual candy bar works better. But if you are of a mind to use syrup for your cocoa, this works, and you can melt the carmel in for a little extra zing. I do use the carmel on top of the whipped cream in a cocoa and that works nicely. Or on a sundae. They're good for that too. There is an ample supply with a good shelf life. I use these pretty often and only buy new ones about once a year or so. They last a long time.

This drizzle for popcorn was so yummy. The caramel was a bigger hit than the chocolate but both were very good. It did get extremely messy so be prepared for that. We got this at the time we were starting a weight loss journey so for those that are doing a weight loss journey such as weight watchers...its pretty high points for a small serving. I would definitely get it again if I was not on the weight loss journey.

I purchased this hoping it would make a dried topping as the name "brittle" implies, but it doesn't. It tastes just okay and leaves popcorn sticky and wet. The packaging and quality are good. The taste of the chocolate tastes like a chocolate syrup, and the caramel tastes like a caramel ice cream topping. There's nothing special about these that justifies an extra purchase or the price.

I assumed, based on the name "Drizzle Brittle" that this popcorn topping would set up. I admit that the information given did not specify that it would but why would you name a product brittle if it remains a consistency that could substitute for Elmer's Glue? I bought this sometime ago and at the time I thought the price was a little high at almost $0.41 per ounce. Now the price is $1.14 per ounce. I decided to try this tonight instead of my usual Parmesan cheese on popcorn. I'm glad I didn't try it when there were children around. I made enough of a mess all by myself and I was trying to be neat. I prepared it in the kitchen and planned to eat it while I looked through my e-mail in the living room. When I realized what a mess I was in I stayed far away from my computer. There products come in a thick plastic bottle designed to be stood on it's cap. Trust me, store them on the caps or you'll never get the thick goo out of the bottle. I have severe arthritis and my hands are affected. I did not anticipate the difficulty I would have getting something out of a squeeze bottle but it took several minutes and a lot of pain to get the small amount I needed onto my popcorn. I noticed that the brittle didn't seem to be setting up before I took the bowl into the living room so I grabbed a napkin to take with me. Trying to clean up this mess with a napkin could be equated to trying to keep my hair dry with a fish net in a downpour - futile. This gooey stuff stuck to the napkin and when I tried to wipe it, the napkin came apart leaving pieces of it stuck to my fingers. Be prepared to use a wet washcloth or clean up in a sink. The consistency is about what you would get if you reduced Hershey's Syrup by about half. The flavors are mediocre at best. I make caramels each Christmas and they have a luxurious texture and flavor, on a par with the Fannie Mae brand. Excellent caramel is not hard to make. I would rate the Drizzle Brittle caramel as fair. The chocolate is a dark cocoa, not a milk chocolate so it is not overly sweet. And the chocolate has a mildly grainy texture to it. This is not something you would notice when you eat it on popcorn but I did pick it up when I was trying to lick my fingers clean. The taste is not terrible but is definitely not great. I won't use it on popcorn again but I will look for other things I can use it on that I don't eat with my fingers. It was too expensive to just throw out. To sum up, this is a great idea that was poorly executed and very overpriced. I do commend them for using ingredients I recognize but you can use all natural ingredients to make excellent foods. This isn't one of them. Update: I left the popcorn bowl in the sink with a few kernels left in it, intending to wash it today. I ended up not getting back to it until tonight and found that after 24 hours the Drizzle Brittle had set up - somewhat. I still wouldn't call it brittle but it wasn't messy. It was a soft set, somewhat like the texture of soft fudge. There are still several problems with this. Nowhere on the bottle does it mention that you need to let it set for 24 hours. Who fixes a snack of chocolate-caramel popcorn and doesn't plan to eat it for 24 hours? And keep in mind that by that time you no longer have fresh popcorn.

Extremely sweet in a not totally pleasant way. Maybe because I'm Australian and we use real sugars instead of high fructose corn syrup. Either way, it wasn't awful, and was a fun change as a popcorn flavouring, but I wouldn't buy it again.
