LED? These bulbs are very pretty. However, I just had to replace one after 9 months. It is in our kitchen, so it isn't running continuously. The light is off at night and while we are at work and a great deal of the time while we are out of the kitchen or the daylight is strong. I calculate that I have run it about 1000 hours, so to be safe we'll say 2000 as opposed to their 15000 hour reported lifespan. However, traditional Edison bulbs have a 1000 hour lifespan, interesting...My understanding of LED bulbs is that they are supposed to last a really long time. I should have just bought a regular bulb if I was going to be replacing it so often.

The lights are very bright and look great. I had read mixed reviews about how they are great when they work, but a lot of people received defective bulbs. Maybe a quality control issue with the company? I needed 18 bulbs for a chandelier. I order four 6 packs anticipating some defective bulbs. Sure enough, 3 bulbs in the order were bad. One blew out after one use, and two were flickering. So out of 24 bulbs, 3 were defective and will be sent back.

Extremely bright! I put these in my dining room and they definitely help brighten up an otherwise very dark eating area.
