I purchased this rollerball pen, and it has quickly become one of my favorites! Easy ose, smooth writing, great quality

This is a good pen. A genuine Cross Bailey METAL body pen, that comes with a genuine Cross refill. It is to be distinguished from the less expensive Bailey light pen which retails for half the price. This Black model was on sale for <$20. Other colors were between $20-40, which were also fair market price for this older model which retails on Cross website for $75. To be honest, I was going to send another Bailey back to Cross for repair because it would not post, and the nib wrote quite inconsistently. MY father thought it was his user error, but it was a flawed pen. But the store he bought it from has now closed, it would have cost at least $20 to mail it to Cross, even with their lifetime warranty. Plus I have heard they sometimes do not warranty the nibs. I took a chance on this one from Amazon, and found that the second time was a charm. As a fountain pen collector, I still might haggle with Cross, but at least my dad has a pen that works for him.

Looks great, writes well BUT the top will not stay on the pen when writing -- not ideal. I have tried everything - no go. it is either a design flaw or something with the finish.

Very nice pen. Writes smoothly. I use a refillable ink converter with mine, but the Cross pre-filled cartridges are great too.

This is a great writing instrument. It has a nice size and looks great. Cross pens are always reliable and well made with great refills and colors. I like the feel and ease of use of this rollerball. I’ll is top notch and great one for the money and comparable to much more costly pens. Love this pen and very highly recommend this. The black finish is impressive.

I have bought these for years! This is a thick pen which makes it easier for me to hold onto (arthritis). I’m just overall a big fan of cross pens in general and frequently buy them for presents. There is nothing like a good heavy pen in your hand.
