This cake cutter tool is a breeze to use and made cutting 8-inch cakes so much easier. It fit perfectly on my 12-inch knife and allowed for clean, even slices every time. I also love that it comes with a storage container to keep everything neat and clean. Great tool for anyone who loves baking and wants to make their cake-cutting process effortless. Highly recommend!

attaches to your knife but they are a little bulky so they reduce the cutting area that your knife can cover. I have a standard length serrated knife and found I could cut up to a 7" cake max.

Used this to make a lemon cake with several layers, alternating cake and lemon curd. This item made it possible to cut thin layers evenly. Worked out just the way I wanted it to.

So, I tried to use these to level some 8 inch rounds with a regular bread knife from a typical kitchen set. They do work, but I had to buy a much longer knife to be able to use these since once added to the blade of a usual 8-10 inch knife, there's only enough space to cut a 6 inch cake. So if you plan to use it for anything larger, you need a bigger knife to use these.

I use this to slice off cake tops. Use at least a 10" knife to attach to and then it's easier to use. It was either this or buy a wired cake slicer but too many of those had bad reviews where the wire popped off. I like that it's adjustable so I can choose how much to cut off. Make sure your cutting surface is flat. With cakes, it's easier for me to cut the cake top off in a circle or on four sides instead of just straight through in one direction. You don't want to cut too hard and pull the knife toward your finger and cut yourself (which I did).

not good they don’t stay on my knife the way I want them. I’ve been having problems with them. I bought two sets. I won’t purchase it again not for me not for my business as well.

I love how this small tool makes a big difference when cutting cakes. It makes leveling cakes so much easier.

Love love love these. I bought with the large serrated blade and I wish I had bought these earlier.

Son muy prácticos y fácil de usar

After receiving a bread making machine for Xmas, I've been making a loaf once or twice a week. However, I've been making a right mess of slicing them freehand! I thought I'd try these and I've been delighted with the results. I clip them onto my long bread knife at either end of the blade and it's really easy to get a dozen really good, even slices from a 750g loaf recipe (using the second notch up). They're also great for taking the dome top off a Victoria sponge cake on the higher notch setting. I can't comment on longevity but so far I'm delighted with them. A great kitchen gadget and in a handy little storage box. Highly recommended!
