- Easy storage and easy assembly: The kit is packed in a well-made fabric bag with excellent stitching (double-stitching around the outside where wear will be highest), heavy duty strapping with ability to connect this kit on the outside of a backpack, and velcro closure in addition to wide strap and buckle closures. The Shovel has its own protective cover to protect from cutting.
- The set comes in 6 pieces: A top cover with a paracord, a whistle with a magnesium flint rod, a handle with multifunctional saw knife, a handle and a shovel, all fit nicely and securely into the carrying pouch. When assembled the shovel is nearly 19" long and spade 4.5" wide. Easy assembly with no instruction needed.
- A multi-function shovel with the ability to adjust the shovel head/ blade so that it is sticking straight out like a shovel or at 90 degrees to be used as a hoe or entrenching tool. The blade is made out of hi-carbon stainless steel and the outside of the blade has a little bit of an edge to it around three sections so you can use it to hack off small branches or cut through roots. There is a serrated edge on the forth side to use it as a saw.
- The tactical handle is made out of machined aerospace grade aluminum and consists of three parts. The main handle / shovel head assembly, a second screw out section that acts as a tactical knife / wire cutter/ bottle opener, and an end cap section with a length of Para cord lanyard attached to it with a screw out magnesium flint and survival whistle.
