Pleasantly Surprised!
I have only had and used this item a few times now, but I have to say I'm impressed. I wanted a replacement for my Vietnamese pour over that I had found a long time ago in a grocery store. I originally obtained it when I wanted to make a quick one-cup of coffee. But the drip rate is so slow, it's really agonizing; it takes so long, the coffee is actually no longer hot by the time I can drink it. Needless to say, I gave up using it long ago. I figured by now, newer pour overs had to be better, and this one definitely is by leaps and bounds. Any of the other similar looking pour-overs (and there are many) are probably just as good, but this one was really well priced, so I took a chance to see. The drip rate is quick, and the coffee taste is excellent. I immediately wash it and hand dry it after use, which doesn’t take long at all. So far, after several uses anyway, it has remained consistent in taste and ease of use. I will just have to see if it holds up over time. Update: March 17, 2024 So it has been over two years now, and this pour over is still going. BUT, awhile back I found that the drip rate was slowing down until it was getting as slow as my previous pour over. I tried washing it with soap, soaking in vinegar, etc. but nothing worked. Then I found a link (sorry, I don't have it any more) where a person pointed out that it was actually the oils that were clogging the filter, and that you can use a torch (I used my gas stove) to eliminate it. So I tried this: I removed my gas stove grate and center piece and slowly hovered the filter slowly over the flame to heat it up (use temperature grade gloves and be careful!). As the filter gets very hot, the oil will burn off and smoke quite a bit. I did this for a while until there wasn't much smoke anymore. I did it on the inside and the outside of the filter. After it cooled, I rinsed it and it worked substantially better. Maybe not as good as new, but nearly so. I have had to do this periodically when it gets bad again. Note that the flame will stain the filter, but I personally don't care about some discoloration. Still, a good deal after two years of daily use.

Very nice no filter pour over dripper. I love it!
I love this pourover dripper! I have two other drippers that require filters. This one, which I received for Christmas, is fabulous. It drips with no filter for the perfect cup and is easy to clean by just rinsing well with water. I am going to order another. Goodbye paper filters!

Love this Dripper, but no instructions
So far for me, this is a perfect way to make a single cup of coffee without the use of a paper filter or plastic. I used Keurig coffee makers for years, but decided to stop drinking coffee where heated water and coffee are passing through plastic parts. Recently I changed to an all stainless French press coffee maker which I did not like due to: it takes 4 mins to brew, it is messy to take apart, there are 5 pieces to clean, and it leaves sediment in my mug. This Laiyeoy Dripper is fast to brew, only one thing to clean, uses a smaller amount of coffee, and leaves no sediment in mug. I grind my coffee at the health food store to the finer end of the medium setting. This grind works well, the water flows quickly, nothing gets stuck in the filter holes and sediment does not get through. I use 2 tablespoons coffee for 10 ounces water. The only things I don’t like are: there were no instructions in the box about which grind to use, the ratio of coffee to water, or how to clean. I had to stop using my favorite mugs which are just a little too wide at the top to securely hold this product. If you use mugs with a wide mouth, check the measurements. Somewhere I saw a comment about a pour over dripper (may or may not have been this one) that the seam of the inner filter came apart. So I am going to be careful with the seam and treat it gently when removing grounds with a narrow rubber spatula or washing.

Going paper filter free! So easy to rinse and clean
So we recently got a metal percolator to avoid all the heated plastic involved in so many coffee machines. You can continuously buy filters, which you throw, or you can go without filters. A percolator works just fine, but if you go filter free, you still end up with some grounds in your coffee. This one time purchase means we just make our coffee in the percolator, then run it through this to keep any grounds out of our coffee. It works great and is easy to rinse off each time. No plastic, the only potential downside we have found is if pouring into a solid mug, you can't always tell how full you are getting. Pour over slowly, and rotate the filter as you go if you need things to speed up a bit. If the bottom gets clogged because you are pouring a giant mug or thermos, just rinse it and set it down and begin again. Honestly this ultimately saves so much money and time purchasing filters, and produces less waste. If you want to avoid all the heated plastic in most coffee makers, an inexpensive percolator plus this is the best thing we've found so far.

egh
worked ok when I first bought it. Took a few minutes for the water to flow and I'd still have nice hot water. But come around the 10th time of using it that all changed. Ever since then it takes FOREVER for the water to flow through, and the coffee grounds get backed up no matter how little I put in compared to the water. I still try to give it the benefit of the doubt. But the doubt has won for over a year now. The purpose was for me to bring this to work again, along with my cool hand held coffee grinder, and make my coffee before heading out. But now I will be searching for a different filter so I may enjoy hot coffee... not ice cold

This pours/filters too slowly to stay hot.
The product itself was of good quality. I think the method isn't what I was looking for. By the time the hot water filters through the device (it takes several pours), it is no longer really hot, and I need to rewarm the coffee in the microwave.
