We watched a YouTube video and my husband was able to replace the broken one and it works! It’s actually better than the one that came with the Bissell. This one seems longer and is definitely more flexible. It doesn’t look like it will crack easily like the other one. It took longer than the 15 mins that everyone said they did it in and you have to pretty much take the unit apart but worth it!!

I have a ProHeat Bissell. The original hose was not that great and kept breaking where the hose met the connection plastic. I attempted to seal with duct tape and it wasn't working well, so I went with this replacement hose. Not a hard install for anyone handy, and it seems to truly be an upgrade from the original one.

This is my third time I bought this machine and the hose broke. This time I decided to buy this replacement hose. It is a little bit challenging to install so follow the videos on YouTube. But this hose is better than the one that comes from the factory and works perfect. Thank you.

This was the correct part for my Bissell Spotclean model number 5207. I suggest using the old parts solution delivery hose as a guide for the proper hose length, my old part had a slight kink in the hose so I cut it a little shorter. This is a critical step. Be careful. This is not what I would call a simple repair. There are many parts that have to be disassembled. The motor has to be disconnected to install the solution delivery hose. Keep track of all the screws that are removed. The reason I only gave it four stars, is the repair is tricky. If you are not good at taking things apart and putting them back together you might want to just buy a new machine.

Took me some fiddling to take the machine apart but overall wasn’t hard to figure out. The hose actually feels like better quality than the original one on my machine that broke. Rubber tube had to be cut down. Overall happy with it!!

So I ordered the wrong hose 🥲 thinking I'd have to go through a nightmare to return and get a new one then I had a thought. Maybe I can swap the suction attachments from the hoses and sure enough it worked!!!!!!!! The fit was a perfect one and all is well. The new hose is of a much higher quality although I would have liked it to be clear again instead of black but all in all it's a much needed upgrade to the standard bissell hose.

Only time will tell how long this last. The old version was TERRIBLE! After 3 uses it would break some where in the line. This seems flexible, by that I mean the plastic or material they used seems more forgiving with movement. But I’m still cautious. Good thus far…
