I have a bunch of joy pens that I thought would be useless when I upgraded to Cricuit maker but this attachment is perfect and now I can use pens with the adapter.

Came quick with prime shipping despite it being around the holidays. Fit perfect in my cricut maker 3 and aligned perfect using the cricut joy pen with the project once I made sure to push the pen down as far as it could go.

The website is not reachable and the thing was difficult to install and didn't work when I installed it! This company is either out of business or running a scam!!!!

Ich war mit zuerst nicht sicher, ob ich den Adapter bestellen soll, da es so wenige Bewertungen/Kommentare gibt. Ich bin froh, dass ich es dann doch getan habe. Die Lieferung erfolgte schneller als ursprünglich geplant. Der Adapter war leicht einzusetzen. Ich habe den Adapter mit verschiedenen Stiften ausprobiert (auch „No-Name-Produkte“) und es hat richtig gut geklappt.

This works PERFECTLY. I am a Cricut Contributing Artist, so my projects need to be perfect, because it’s literally my job. I tested this the second I got it by duplicating the same text, attaching it and making 1 a different color, so that I could draw over top exactly (without the mat being discharged) to make sure this draws in line with the regular pen and housing I have for my Maker. It was literally barely a millimetre off. I’m thrilled. I’ve thought about using 3rd party pens, but the reviews seem to be crap mostly and unfortunately Cricut only sells their black 0.4 or 0.3 pens in packs for the Joy. I use so many black in this size I can’t justify buying a pack of multi color pens. So a while ago I bought one of those “universal” pen adapters, they’re really all the same design, but the brand was craver land. If you look at them you can see that they protrude so high up past the housing where the mechanics of the blades are kept. When I installed it I tested it, by doing the same test above, it was really off. Then I noticed that because the adapter sticks up high, by design, that it was really close to the housing. I tried to slip a thin piece of paper between the housing and the adapter and couldn’t. I spent hours trying to make that stupid thing not rub against my machine, and even shaved down the adapter and still it didn’t line up properly. If I hadn’t noticed that over time it would definitely wear out the mechanics of my new machine. That’s why Cricut says pen adapters void the warranty. The other thing that drove me nuts with the “universal” adapter is that you have to calibrate it every time to make sure the pen tip is at the right height. UGH This one I don’t have to think about it, no calibration. This adapter is worth every penny, and I’ll probably buy an extra because of how well it works. Also, I live in Canada, and there were no duties (maybe because it’s a low amount) and I got it literally within days of ordering from the states. Amazing! Thank you!

Just what I needed! Turns all my Joy pens into Maker pens. Does exactly what it says it should do. A must have for those who don't want to buy all new pens.

Recently upgraded from a cricut joy xtra to the explore 3 and didn’t want to have to purchase all new pens. This adapter seems to work well using the joy pens in my new machine. I wasn’t quite sure how to put the adapter in at first but found some videos online that helped
