Loose fit and doesn't work with LED bulb
This is a very loose fit in the bayonet fitting, which is not very reassuring. On top of that the sleeve of the adapter is too high and will not fit an LED bulb as it will not screw in far enough to make contact with the base.

Doesn’t fit a standard bayonet socket. Save yourself a return
I agree these don't fit the bayonet socket - the connection is too loose and it doesn't make contact. Save yourself the hassle of a return. I ordered another one from etsy and that worked fine. Alternatively one can just buy a B22 bulb.

Does not work with LED bulb
Tried this for B22 socket lamps which are, maybe, 40 years old from UK. Tried with GE LED 40W bulbs. Does not work. Have ordered alternative which states, specifically, its suitability for modern E27 LED bulbs. Hopeful.
