This one is going back! I needed an inexpensive Chromebook for a Ham Radio project and I like Dell so this seemed like a good deal. It is a low end Chromebook so I expected it to be slow and have low storage capacity. Both of those are true and I was willing to work around them. I normally steer clear of "refurbished" equipment unless I am very familiar with the seller but I took a chance on this one. What I didn't expect is that it would arrived damaged. Please look at the photos. At one point it had been dropped hard on the right rear corner so who knows what other internal damage still exists. (That's why I got the extended warranty.) It was shipped in bubble wrap in a plastic envelope so I don't know if the damage occurred during shipment or if it was sent that way. The box I sent it back it offers VASTLY more protection than the envelope the seller shipped it in. But it still worked so I was willing to live with it until I attempted to install some Android software from the Google Play Store. I can't! Seems this laptop is so out of date that it hasn't been eligible for updates since September 2021. As a result I cannot load anything from the play store and almost two years of security and system updates cannot be loaded. I didn't see anything in the description that warned about this so I am returning the laptop for a refund. The description reads "This product is in "Excellent condition". The screen and body show no signs of cosmetic damage visible from 12 inches away." Look at the photos: you can see that damage from 12 FEET away. And, naturally, I have to pay return postage which will be about half what I paid for it. Beware when you see a computer "deal" on Amazon that features a "renewed" product unless security and functionality is unimportant to you. This seller, "Tech Magnet" is now on my permanent "NEVER AGAIN" list of sellers on Amazon.

This would have been a five star review if the item had arrived as promised. Regardless, I am really happy with it and it is in great condition and was a really good price!!

This Chromebook works like it’s new, only issue was the battery started to die and would only work when plugged in, BUT, reached out to the company and they immediately sent out a battery and a partial refund!

I wasn't sure about this and it was dead when I received it. Had to charge along time , literally a couple days. Than it was good to go. I did call support 1-800 # they sent card with laptop which stated 24 hour customer support. No answer and a message when you call number. An no response from them, Amazon customer service was amazing with their help. So laptop I've only had the charging issue but once charged its been fine, I've had for 2 months or more. Their customer service is non existence or so it seems. I would purchase another refurbished one I'm not sure if I'd use this company due to customer service.

It is a very nice Chromebook, older, but in excellent condition. What is not shared is that it is an older model and no longer supported by Google. You can not associate this device in your Google account, and therefore cannot download many apps. Would have been great if it just did that one feature. This vendor is near my hometown in Washington state and is reputable. I just wish they would have been a bit more forthcoming. No problems as all returning...that was nice.

I was searching for an SD card reader (standard size... Not micro) and found this chromebook. The 11.6" screen is huge compared to the "affordable" trailcam card readers. It is just as easy to throw this into the pack as the dedicated readers. Better Images/Vid Clips, and it costs the same. I give my new SD card reader (ie- chromebook) Three Thumbs Up!!!
