Helps expensive brushes get cleaner and last longer, and has stayed rust-free so far
This works great for my purposes. Primarily I use it for two jobs... Firstly, I use it to pry open paint cans using the tip on the hooked end (which works better than a screwdriver in my experience, because screwdrivers tend to bend the paint can lip). It's odd the manufacturer doesn't mention this function on the product's label. Second, I use the brush cleaner comb during brush washing, which makes the whole cleaning process go faster. It really helps you get into the nooks and crannies of the brush. I have also used the tool to help clean paint from a 9-inch roller -- which requires some vigorous scraping of the tool along the roller -- but honestly I was disappointed how much work it is to clean a roller. After 5 minutes of running water and scraping the roller, and rinsing and scraping some more, my roller still wasn't totally clean. So I went back to tossing my rollers in the trash when the painting job is done. That's not the tool's fault -- it's simply an unavoidable amount of hassle and huge amount of water to clean a roller. So far the tool hasn't rusted despite being used for perhaps a half dozen painting jobs and brush cleanups. I have never tried the nail-related feature, since I'm afraid I might break the tool, and I have a claw hammer for that anyway lol. My only (tiny) complaint is that this tool doesn't also clean smaller 4" or 6.5" rollers (wrong curvature), but this tool wasn't designed for that anyway, and you can find other roller cleaners that do that elsewhere on Amazon. Those little rollers are so cheap -- just a couple of dollars each in a multi-pack -- that it's not really worth the effort to clean them anyway, IMHO, so this isn't a big complaint. Overall this is a very useful tool to have around when you're painting, and it's not expensive, so 5 stars from me.

Great taping knife and customer service
This is an excellent product as it is thin and much easier to use than the cheap disposable plastic ones. It is pretty flexible and it can press well on the wall to spread the joint compound pretty evenly and flat. The handle is sturdy as well. My first one arrived damaged as the rear cap felt off during shipping. The replacement came quickly and I am extremely happy about it. Since this taping knife has higher carbon content. it cuts the compound very well. However, it will rust if you don't keep it dry after wash.

A good choice!
- It's a little thinner than another brand that I have but it works in its favor. It doesn't sacrifice stiffness because its slightly thinner and this trait also helps it cut through the putty nicely. - It has a clear coating on it to protect the metal but I find this is a negative because as it starts to wear off, the putty tends to stick to it more easily. As another reviewer mentioned; better to remove this coating with some type of chemical like laquer thinnner, turpentine, or mineral spirits etc... so the knife continues to move cleanly through the putty. First time DIY'ers need all the advantage they can get! * A suggestion to Red Devil would be to make it out of a different metal to eliminate the need for a protective coating; however at this price I would just buy another if it wears out! Easy fix!

Great tool for guitar repair!
I bought this tool for lifting the bridge on my acoustic electric guitar (to re-sand and re-glue). The chisel edge blade works perfectly to get under the bridge and eventually lift off the guitar. The chisel only flexes a little and is very sturdy and has a very comfortable grip! I highly recommend this tool!

High quality knife.
I really like this 6" knife. The blade has a good amount of flex, but is not overly thin and has a sharp edge on it. I'm sure there are rubberized handles that are more comfortable, but I prefer this style handle which is easy to clean, won't deteriorate and has a metal cap on the bottom for closing paint cans when you don't have a hammer around. A really great deal for a good quality knife, not sure how it is sold for under $5. A 6" knife is really versatile I can do a lot of minor repair jobs without having to break out my larger knives.

Cheap handle
Blade seems OK. Handle is hollow plastic and feels very cheap. Flexes just squeezing it. Don't know how long it will last.

Was hoping for a little stiffer

Used to reglaze windows on my home built in 1931. Works well for glazing, not much else to say. I used DAP 33 which has taken forever to set, but that is by no fault of the tool itself.

May not be professional grade, but makes a huge difference for glazing windows. Higley recommend this knife and " Multi Glaze type M" from Abatron. Do not use Dap 33.
