Rockport Mens Charles Road Plain Toe

Needed these for a color guard uniform for a fraternal order that I belong to, picked them because they closely resemble military “low quarters”. They fit well and are comfortable, also seem to be well made.

Great fit and look. The shoelaces make it very difficult to spread the sides to get my feet in. You need narrower rounded laces, so I buy them separately and replace the shoes because otherwise it's a great shoe! Also, I don't know anyone who threads laces like this company does because the way these arrive, they're very hard to tie. My guess is that they get a lot of returns which is a shame because it's an excellent shoe!

This is a very light and comfortable shoe. I have had the shoes for 3 months and wear 3-4 times/week. They still look new. I consider the shoe to be a good fit for business casual to semi-dressy look, which works well for me. The size runs a bit large, or I should say it runs a bit larger than other shoes I have purchased of the same size. It is the most comfortable show I now have - even more so than my pair of "tennis" shoes. The toe area seems large, but my other "shoes: are cowboy boots with the semi-pointed toe so it is a much different fit. I would definitely buy the shoe again

Shoes themselves are Perfect and beautiful. But, Amazon (seller) sent them in an envelop, not in a box. The envelop was torn and somebody taped it around. Fortunately, the Rockport shoebox was only partially damaged and the shoes intact. Please send the shoe box inside a carton box, not in an envelop in the future.

Rockport is synonymous with quality, and these are no exception! They are made of good quality leather and well constructed to stand up to everyday wear and tear. The soles are thick and cushioned and make walking comfortable. They might seem a little expensive, but they last, so in the long-run they are cheaper than having to replace your shoes all the time. I have been wearing Rockport shoes since the early 1990s and will keep on getting them because they are simply the best dress shoe I've ever worn.

I’ve had these for a couple of weeks now and I’m trying to give them time but after a few hours in them my feet hurt. I walk at least a mile per day and I walk in these shoes. After a walk, the balls of my feet ache. There isn’t enough cushion for the sole I think. I’m going to try to add an insert to see if it gets better, but this is an $80 shoe and you shouldn’t have to add anything to make them comfortable. I like the look of the shoe but they are not very comfortable. I’ve even had to take them off while driving long distances. At this point, I would not recommend them and I’m most likely going to return them.

Love Rockport shoes, super comfortable and always seem a good fit. Pity that they are often very pricey. Plus you need to be very aware of the scam sites offering prices too good to be true.

It is my third pair of Rockport and I never had a better type of this kind of shoes. They always fit, they are comfortable. I used previous pairs for years. So I guess it will be the same with these ones as well. I was always very happy with Rockport shoes.

Shoe is light weight and well made, good value
