I've used this product thousands of times. It never fails whether your fixing indoor plumbing or outdoor sprinkler systems, and Enter your an amateur or a professional. The telltale blue color easily let's you know if you missed a spot - unlike when using clear adhesives. For normal uses you usually don't need to prime the surface, but if you do, Christy's makes primer as well. I believe it's purple. I haven't checked this particular can yet but it usually comes off your hands easily as well. You usually need to let it dry then peel it off. Just observe common-sense and don't use it near or in your mouth or eyes, and, like with all glues, don't put it in your hair... And, please, don't eat it.

Had manifold on spa freeze up from not storing properly after moving to new house. This stuff works well for repairing/replacing pvc fittings on spa.

This stuff is just as good as anything on the market. The price is right, it set fast and strong, and no need for primer. I would definitely buy again.

I bounce back and forth between Christy's and Oatey, and go through an 8oz can every 3 to 4 months. I do like the Oatey over the Christy's, as it seems to hold better on 1 to 5 year old pvc without using primer. If the pvc you are attaching to is 5+ years old, I would highly recommend using primer no matter what flavor of blue glue you have, as when pvc gets that old, it can become brittle, and will not let straight blue glue etch properly, as the surface becomes hard. This is a good price on an 8oz can.
