To turn off the beeping sound, the instructions say to make this change on the circuit board, however, you will find that this does nothing. Other reviewers have commented the same. Solution: unscrew the circuit board (there are two screws holding it down) and cut off the wire leading to the beeping element. You will find it once you unscrew the circuit board. It's easy, but does take some skill to understand the wires beneath the board. All else with this product works well, except the inability to turn off the beeping.

This review is of the ANDONT 3 Stack Super Bright LED Andon Tower Lights, Off-ON, 6 ft Industrial Adapter, Plug Play Ready. We've only had this stack for about 3 weeks. They've worked flawlessly, so far. It may be obvious to you, but if you need more than three lights in your situation, what we've done successfully is use, for example, the red & yellow lights on together to indicate what a fourth light would indicate. After that it starts getting a little confusing trying to remember which two other lights on mean. The stack is medium-duty in my opinion. If the Andont stack is not likely going to take much abuse, then it ought to be fine. If you are likely to hit the lights with, say with steel pipes, rebar, etc. then a solution that I've used is to mount the stack behind a piece of Lexan, or similar clear plastic that will take anything you can throw at it. Positives: The switches all snap and lock in place: both on and off. The lights are bright enough to be seen across the shop. Neutral: It does use a transformer so it will take up more space on your outlet, power bar, etc. As stated, it's medium duty in my opinion and will need something to protect it in certain environments. Negatives: The controller doesn't have any way to mount it. My last box had two screw-holes on the top and bottom. It's not a big deal for us, because we used a high-quality double-stick tape and stuck it right to the machine. Conclusions: If you need a signal light that is in a place where it's not going to take significant abuse, then I think you'll be happy with this stack. I did some more research looking for a similar light stack and I found that they were mostly medium duty and right in this price range. I give it 4.5 out of 5 Stars.

This ANDONT 3 Stack Super Bright LED Tower Lights with Buzzer is very cool and a welcomed safety feature in our shop. Installation was as about as simple as you can possibly get with only two bolts and a simple 120 V plug. With a quick glance of the directions we were up and running in about 15 minutes. I like how the lights are stackable and this particular color combination is very similar to traffic lights: green, Amber and read. Indeed, it's a great tool for productivity with job shop fabrication but we also find it valuable tool for all around safety as it helps keep pace and nobody feels in a rush to move onto the next operation. In our case this is particularly valuable as for the workflow that we are using it for involves both a press brake for bending and a plasma cutter for cutting. It provides a clear visual cue that nobody is to push a button unless the light is green. Red means step back from your workstation as there is an issue and of course orange means stay in fast until the light turns green. It's a great tool well worthy of a full five star review and then also like to comment on the overall quality and construction of it. It's professional grade well-made and again valuable tool in our shop. I highly recommend it.

I live in an RV Resort in Florida where the majority of residents are 55+ y/o and a lot are disabled. We were trying to figure out a way to alert residents during Hurricane Season for the threat level so they can prepare for it as a lot are not tech savvy nor watch a lot of news these days due to the constant negativity always on it. We have also thought about other uses and having three different color lights that coincide with a traffic signal color scheme makes it easy to understand the severity of the situation just by the color being used or a combination of colors. The possibility is unlimited. Residents have already responded positively to the light and we look forward to putting it to good use. The only thing I will point out is this is mainly designed for indoor use and without some sort of protective clear covering for heavy rain events it would most likely damage the unit. during severe storms or hurricanes without such protection. It is lightweight, easy to set up, and easy to use. The bracket that secures it to a pole or wall is very sturdy and overall I feel the Tower lights are pretty durable. They are bright and easy to disassemble for any needed cleaning. The control box is an industrial type and will last a long time.

Each color of light is controlled by its own switch, and 2 or 3 can be on at the same time. The switches feel very robust and durable. The light isn't super bright, but it's bright enough for most use cases I can imagine. The buzzer is plenty loud enough to be used in a lot of factory environments, though maybe not all. If you remove the clear plastic light cover, and then the white plastic light cover, you can access the 4 dip switches that control the flashing vs steady-on light behavior. Supposedly, you can also turn off the red light buzzer. However, my switch my have been defective as there was no position of any of the switches that would turn the buzzer off. It's easy enough to unscrew the circuit board and clip the buzzer wire though, if that's of interest. They probably usually work, but mine did not. The dip switches are very small, and you'll probably need a tool to move them. Easy to install and use, less easy to change light and buzzer settings. Though you probably won't have to change them again once you get them set the way you want.

Nicely made, simple installation, plug & play: This lighting alert system is pretty well made and seems durable enough to withstand any accidental bumps it might encounter on a job sight. The installation of the unit is very simple - the back of the unit allows you to slide it onto a hooked surface and there is no wiring required beyond just plugging it in. Once plugged it, it's very intuitive how to use each light setting, with the green and yellow lights remaining silent, but the red light emitting a fairly loud beeping sound when turned on to act as a warning. Do be aware however that you can turn on multiple lights at one time, so just make sure to train your staff (if applicable) to make sure they're turning off one light when turning on another to help avoid any confusion. Overall, this is a great product and I would recommend.
