It’s easy to understand how to set it up, and I’m almost a complete newb at machine sewing, I’ve had my new singer for about a week now, I’ve fallen in love with machine sewing and have already made several items. Need to refill the bobbin soon. They say use the plastic bobbins so I’m glad I read the reviews. Wish it came with a walking foot as I had bought the exclusive pack. I’m hopefully going to successfully sew a quilt within the next month. When I bought it it was on sale minus 20 ish dollars at 256.00 I believe. So happy about my purchase. It really makes hand sewing a bit more versatile feeling when I can machine sew a lot of the major parts. 10/10. Only wish I had more machine sewing skills, but it was very easy to understand after reading the directions. I’ve always struggled with threading it in my youth. Having one of your own to start fresh on really makes a difference.

When you use this great product overseas you need to purchase an electrical converter for the electric current rated for that country. I think every person should use this sewing machine because it has some many of the sewing options needed for those living and in fashion in other countries.Great product, I would buy more...

I paired this with a cheap table I found on amazon and it works flawlessly. This is the first time she’s taken sewing seriously and has already made so many things. She loves the Singer Platform and has been told by many they prefer them over the “other” brand. I just got this because it was on sale and had a nice package deal with accessories. It’s fantastic overall and isn’t too loud!

The Instruction Manual was not included. The needle threader does not work. Some parts are made of cheap plastic and could easily break. Examples: the bobbin, the bobbin cover, spool pin.

It works well, has sufficient stitch options for the average user. This was purchased with the (extras kit option) so came with a few different feet, the button accessory a package of needles and a few other extras (in hind sight, while convenient that it came with that, the additional cost of the package deal was not worth the individual price of the accessories included if you have a local store that sells Singer accessories). One of the selling features for selecting this unit was the "automatic needle threader" which in application is neither automatic nor is it easy to use. A great idea that they haven't really perfected - it misaligns 3 times out of 4 so there is a lot of messing around to get it to work. Even after you have used it many dozens of times it seems like you can't quite figure out the trick to make it work "first time everytime". But overall a solid machine.
