OMG, from the first chapter I was cracking up! I was giggling and a few times teared up too! There were twists and crazy moments, and Poppy is amazing with her crazy mind! Conner was pretty hot too, he certainly doesn't take the top book boyfriend spot for me, but I did really like him! I especially loved the change up from her normal characters, and the little add ins of the dogs and the golf club

I normally really like Lauren Landish's books. And I really liked the overall story. There was a nice twist at the end. But the Poppy character came off as immature, even childish, throughout most of the book. I think the author might have have been going for a little wacky and fun but went way overboard, at least for me. Also, I have read some unusual sex scenes but while typing a book? I wouldn't tell anyone not to read this but Ms. Landis has many better books to read first.

I don't leave a lot of reviews but it's been a while since I read a truly different story line. A lot are more or less the same now but this one was perfect. I've read all of Lauren's books and enjoyed them all. But Poppy was exceptionally quirky and fun, I loved reading her inner thoughts! Fun plot twist which is somewhat hinted at from the beginning.All in all I totally loved this book

The story had two mismatched people connecting perfectly. I won't tell you how many times I outright laughed at the antics of the main female character. Well done.

I freaking love Poppy and Conner. Poppy is one crazy romance writer on a deadline. Conner is an art thief going on a new job. Poppy is at a dinner and workshop with her favorite writer, when she bumps into Conner there to do a job, stealing a painting. When he grabs her bag with her laptop, she freaks. Then his hideaway is right next door to her. The antics she goes through to get her laptop back. Then when she finds out the truth....or is it? I loved this to death. My new favorite book.

I loved Poppy and Connor. The build of these two characters together was perfect. Poppy has such a great personality and seems like someone that I would love to hang out with in person. The way she just spouts off whatever comes to mind without thinking of the consequences.. if we could all be so awesome!!!!

Lauren Landish has without question a gift. She has such a wonderful imagination and perfect comedic sense. I enjoyed every word. The story never seemed to slow down and with every turn of the page, I either was giggling or laughing out loud at the antics coming from the mouths and actions of the characters. I'm so glad I met her many books ago and will continue looking for her next book.

Absolutely Loved it!!! Had me laughing and crying & I loved the plot twist.I love all of Lauren's books but this is one of her best 5/5

I love this author. I’ve been reading her books pretty much since she started. This is one of my favs of hers and prob of this year so far. I laughed so hard at time I fell of my treadmill. This story is about Poppy and Connor. Connor and Poppy are neighbours. I loved reading the part when they first met. Poppy unsettled Connors cause he’s feeling feelings he didn’t want. Connor is all alphalichious and together they make an terrific couple you can’t help but root for. I received an arc copy from the author but also purchased a copy to read again.
