Nylon nuts should only be used on 1” or less thread length
Used on square pole for solar panels. The nylon nuts wouldn’t screw all the way before locking onto the threads. Had to replace with regular nuts and lock washers. Should have gotten shorter bolts. I didn’t remove any stars as that’s on me. The nylon nuts would’ve been great if I only 1” or less of threading was used.

It was just as it said, but the first one put on my trailer I over torqued it and it snapped that is why I only gave the product a 4 star rating

JUNK!
JUNK! The threads on the bolts are wrong. The nuts thread on great for about an inch then bind up so severely that I couldn't get them off with a breaker bar and had to use a cutter. I repeated it with oil on the threads with the same result. Very disappointed. I sent back the fragments for a refund. NOTE: I have seen this same phenomena years ago with an unknown manufacturer. This is not a function of the Nylon and it is not user error. These were not cross threaded. If you only have to screw it on an inch you may be fine.

They worked on my old 1999 boat trailer, but I prefer stainless. The threads on galvanized get lumpy and these ones were so lumpy that they pulled the nylon out of the lock nuts. Wouldn't be an issue if you plan to use the included lock washers and nut, but I used stainless nylon lock nuts instead.
