“Sturdy, well‑built cradle winch mount plate. Solid construction".
Excellent build quality. The steel plate is thick, rigid, and feels extremely durable, with clean welds and no rough edges. The powder‑coat finish is smooth and evenly applied, giving it solid protection against rust and weather. The fitment is pretty precise, the receiver connection is tight with some but very little wobble, and the overall design feels sturdy enough to handle heavy loads with confidence. A very well‑made mount that is easy to assemble and I'm very happy that I have purchased this one for my needs.

Needed some modifications cation for the Badland 12,000 lb APEX
Some reviewers said they did not have any problems attaching the Badland 12,000 lb APEX on this mount. I did not have the same experience. I had to use a die grinder to make two relief cuts 1/8"D x 2"L x 1/2"W on the back plate to allow the winch side house mounting point room to align the four winch mounting holes. Picture 1 shows the install. Picture 2 is not mine but is provided to show the part that is just above the top arrow on the right and below the negative terminal that would not allow the holes to align. I used different 12mm x 1.75. x 40mm bolts and put them in from the inside of the front plate to attach the Badland fairlead (pictures 3 and 4). The 40mm length was about 2mm too long when putting the bolt in from the front. Trimming the bolt would not work either as the width of the lock washer and nut would not fit on the space between the winch and the mounting plate. The thickness of the Allen head would not allow me to attach the fairlead plate as the space between the mount and the winch is too narrow. If you use the handles, note they are different. Use the slightly longer one on the engage and free spool handle side. (pictures 5 and 6). I have not used winch yet to comment on its build quality. For the price and only having to make a couple of adjustments it appears to be a good choice.

Best bang for your buck!
Works well. Very well actually. Saved me in the Tacoma multiple times. Easy to use, hardware you need is included, and easy to assemble. Looks good, finish on it is nice. Pop your winch in and go! Even better if you have a front hitch to pair. Alignment is straight and winches no problems.

Good fit
This is a good fit for my 13,000 lb winch and the mounting holes lined up perfectly with no mods or drilling required. Overall sturdiness and finish seems pretty good to me. There were no instructions included but it was fairly straightforward to put together. I put the bolt heads on the inside to maximize clearance for the big winch, it might've worked the other way too - I just didn't want to have to redo it if there wasn't enough space on the inside. I'm happy with this purchase at this point but will update this review if it fails me down the road, which I don't expect to be necessary. Just my own opinions and experience here, yours may differ.
