It was fine
First of all I bought this For pottery decorations. Even though I used very soft clay it was hard to get it to cut through. The implement itself was OK I was just afraid to push too hard, thought the plastic would crack

difficult
tried several time to make it work But the dough alway pulled apart. And is difficult to piece together. Back to the old style of strips.

It's probably me
Rolling this object over dough causes the dough to stick to the surface and then it tears when I try to life it. If I ever figure it out, my pies will be gorgeous!

At least it's cheap
Bought this to create puff pastry lattice for beef wellington. The roller doesn't perforate dough well at all. The second time i used it, I pushed down harder and the roller popped completely off the handle. Both times I've used it, I've had to go back and cut slits with a knife. If you only need this kind of thing rarely/once in a while, it's a good price, but if you're a serious baker, you probably want one of better quality

beautiful crust
This little wheel is perfect for presentation of your pies. Very easy to use and even on store bought pie crust, just make sure the crust is room temp. Love it, so easy!

A good starting point for fishnet dough
I did not want to spend a fortune to make my fishnet crust for my first attempt at beef wellington.I succeeded to do something fair but it was not at first try. The main issue here is that either you can press very hard on the roller with a chance to break it (it is a bit flimsy) or you may not open the slits fully.I ended up having to finish the holes with a hand.Am I considering it as a bad acquisition? Not really. Once you understand the limitations, you can work around them. In the end, it still allowed me to do something fair for a very cheap price. In conclusion: 3 stars.
