My first thought when I saw these motion sensing, daylight sensing light bulbs was that they were too complicated and something would not work right. I'm delighted to say that they screwed into our existing fixture and are providing exactly what we needed without us having to buy a new fixture. A feature I like for our current situation might be less desirable for some, when motion is detected, the light stays on for 5 minutes. This is not adjustable. Most systems are around 20 seconds after last motion. This works great for us because the dog run is long and 20 seconds is kinda short. Highly recommended.

These lights are perfect! Wanted some motion lighting for our back porch as it is very dark at night. Installed four of these and they are awesome.

Use them on my back porch. They work great and save you the cost of updating the actual fixture with a motion sensor fixture. Have had them outside for a year and still going strong. Would definitely recommend.

These are great! Saved expense and labor of replacing complete outdoor spot housing. Used a socket extension to clear down spout.

I loved how easy it was to swap these bulbs out still using my existing fixtures and create the motion sensing light feature. Just a few trips up step ladder and the front of my house is now better lit to come on with motion in the night.

If you get a good one they work great, but out of the 8 bulbs that I bought, one stopped working in less than a year and one became a dumb light in less than a week. So 25% of these bulbs that I purchased did not meet expectations. The rest are still working great.
