I usually buy the small jars of cayenne from the store. But it seemed like we were running out far too quickly. The size of this container is perfect and allows me to refill my spice jar several times. The flavor is perfect and the heat level is perfect, not too hot, but just right. I also haven't had any issues with clumping from moisture.

This is great cayenne pepper. I use it often. Great size and value. Smells great.

Watching a raccoon do a hasty retreat after getting a noseful of cayenne is more satisfying than I’d care to admit. However, it does leave my yard smelling like I’m prepping for a massive chili cook-off, and I’m starting to worry the birds might develop a taste for the spicy stuff. 4 stars because while it’s effective, I now feel like I’m running a covert spice operation in my backyard. But hey, at least the birdseed is safe—for now.

It's hot yet adds no discernible taste to salsa or other food. Warning—it's very HOT/SPICY! Use only a little at a time and test before adding more.
