Lamy Cartridges Refill - Blue/Black -5-pack (T10BB)

Love my Lamy pen and the refill ink never disappoints. Blue/Black is always my go-to ink color and this is right on for the color. I also purchased the violet which is a fabulous color - a true violet, rich and fun. In the functionality category - the cartridges are made for the Lamy pens and that's what I use it for, so no complaint there. They do not dry up if you top your pen when not writing. I've left my pen unused, topped for a week or more and have no problem picking it up and writing effortlessly - ink flows fresh immediately. I hate wastefulness, and this cartridge drains to the last drop, literally. Occasionally I've had to give the pen a little shake to move the last drop to the writing end after being in my bag, but then it writes until the cartridge is completely empty. Can't ask for better than that. Ink is smooth, colors true and rich.

I ordered the Lamy Blue/Black 5-pack of cartridges after discovering my Lamy fountain pen that my parents had purchased for me 20 years ago while we were all living in Germany. I quickly decided on the Blue/Black even though I had never used this color type before. I could not be more pleased with the decision. The color is professional, yet not as bright as the typical blue and in my opinion not as harsh as the black. In the end it is more of a navy/gray after it dries on the paper. I have been using my fountain pen with these cartridges for the past week, even finding excuses to write things by hand. I will absolutely purchase these again - shipping was quicker than anticipated.

Just when you thought you knew everything about everything, you find a product that is life-changing. This is NOT one of those products. but it is everything it is advertised to be, so you should be safe acquiring it.

Great product, flows evenly, easy to install, will purchase more.

I love Lamy pens and have a Studio Model Fountain pen and I love Blue Black ink. Not the deep blue that I also like but not for every day use all the time, and not black .. but a navy black color.. I love it.

They really should call this color "black/blue" rather than vice-versa, because it looks more black than blue, which is a good thing. I love this ink because it's just a bit unique, but still appropriate for a business environment, even for things like signing documents, because it doesn't look like bright Bic blue, or some other too-exctiting color for the boring corporate world. My Lamy Safari is about the only pen I use every day, and blue/black is the color with which it's always loaded.

My new pen ran out of ink almost immediately. This pack of five was what I needed to let me feel like I had enough ink for a while. The ink is good quality, flowing nicely from the pen.

I thought I was getting blue ink, not blue/black. Totally my mistake. I have since ordered a Lamy converter and am switching to bottled ink, keeping these cartridges for use and disposal if I have to travel by plane and don't want leaking at pressure. They'll be my 'emergency' ink. The blue/black is just very dull and uninspired. I like vibrant blues, shimmer inks, or unexpected colors in my pens and this one just falls flat. Try Lamy turquoise for something with more character.
