Kmise Noise Gate Electric Guitar Effects Pedal Mini Single Type DC 9V True Bypass

Noise Gate: Works best right after distortion & before mods, and with only one distortion pedal. For a basic pedal board it does the job nicely at about 4:00 on the knob. It has a narrow range, but it’s easy to find the sweet spot. No cool surprises, just a basic noise gate. I wanted to give it 4 stars for the low ceiling. I mean what’s the point of having a 7-to-5 pot if it only works at 4? It’s like buying a tube of toothpaste for 80% off but 90% of it is an air pocket. Nevertheless it works. AB-Y: How did I exist without this pedal? Where has this pedal been all my life? Great-looking bright LED, Rock solid build, does what it says. I like a straight clean/distortion signal through one amp with the other soaked in modulation & reverb, and this pedal does that for a steal at $20. I sound like Jamie West-Oram with this thing. 100% awesome, it’ll be my ‘always on.’

it does the trick, wish it closed the gate a LITTLE faster. It's good enough though.

Great bit of kit, needed it for a gig, was getting a lot of noise from my pedals, fitted this to my set up, even low it drastically cut out the buzz and hum, yes as you crank it higher you've got to pick a little harder but that's fine and isn't always either, it's a balancing act just spend time getting it right on the setting, it turned out I didn't even need it as we just used a DI box. It was going to get 4 stars because as you crank it higher you have to pick harder, but that's normal for a noise gate and for the price and value and quality of the pedal. It's metal casing and came with sticky pads too, it totally eliminated my hum and buzz when set to about 40-50% and didn't effect my actual sound at all. Whilst I didn't end up needing it for the concert I use it at home in my setup and for my Amp and it's on hand for when there's no DI to use! Life saver and so cheap!

It’s good for the price

I purchased the Kmise Noise Gate pedal as an economical option to suppress the noise of the BOSS HM-2 style pedals. It is ineffective for such high gain pedals. It does have a small effect on a clean guitar signal going into a clean amp, and if you are using it for that purpose it may be for you. The majority of noise gate users look for something that can tame a high gain sound, and unfortunately this pedal is not it. The pedal does appear to be well built however and I would be willing to try the other pedals in the Kmise lineup. This one just does not do the trick for containing a high gain signal.

This is doing the job. It's not great compared to my more expensive noise gate pedal. I needed one for a pedalboard setup when practicing at home. I got tired of lugging my larger pedalboard setup to where my band practices and to home each time. This pedal does the trick.

It certainly does the job and great for a beginners. Does well with my digital delay and chorus pedals, results are mixed when using the threshold knob but over all the quality of the sound is great. Awesome for a beginner on noise reduction
