Beast Kingdom The Dark Knight Returns: Batman DAH-043 Dynamic 8-ction Heroes Action Figure, Multicolor

Overall, I really like the Beast Kingdom figures. They look fantastic. The two Dark Knight Returns versions (grey and black with the black bat chest emblem,and the blue and grey with the yellow bat chest emblem in the Batman and Robin set) are fairly close to Frank Miller's original look. The cloth uniforms are great, and the various hands and heads are a welcome addition. My only real critiques are that that; A) while they are fairly poseable, they are somewhat stiff, and B) changing out the head and hands requires almost superhuman strength. I didn't break the figure, but I did disconnect the torso trying to change out the head. The Superman figure was even more difficult. I finally got everything back together, but it was a chore. I would almost classify the figures as somewhat delicate. When I was a kid I was pretty hard on my GI Joe and MEGO action figures, yet they somehow survived. I suspect that the Beast Kingdom figures would not fair very well under similar circumstances. Having said that, while they are just barely worth the price point, they are perfect for display.

At first I was skeptical because of the price but having it in hand now I can say i’m honestly surprised. For the price it’s absolutely worth it. The figure might not be the most accurate but it’s high quality and great for posing. I definitely will be buying more from them.

Excellent design and facial sculpt on both heads. Eyes light up which enhances it. Party design and cloth costume make it early realistic. The only problem is that no batteries.

Wanted to love this figure, but within an hour of manipulating his body, the fabric separated at the seam. Not what you want when paying that much for a figure. Could be fine for a collector that won’t move it around much.

Muy buena figura, llegó el día esperado y es simplemente genial. Beast Kingdom es una marca buena, sin embargo con otros Batmans en el esculpido deja mucho que desear, este es perfecto, los rostros, detalles, todo es genial. Es una figura grande comprada con otras marcas como McFarlane, incluso con figuras del propio BK. La ropa y algunos detalles pueden no ser del agrado para mucha gente, el traje tiende a quedarse atorado entre las uniones de codos, rodillas, etc y las piezas traen esa especie de "suciedad" que si bien le da una apariencia más fúnebre o vieja puede ser un poco desconcertante, el color de los guantes, máscara y botas no es negro profundo, es más deslavado y eso también puede ser malo para algunos. El cinturón es maravilloso, parece 100% real. La capa es un acierto, es posable casi en su totalidad gracias a unos alambres que permiten jugar con ella. En fin, un acierto enorme para la marca y para el personaje. Hasta la caja es épica

I like this figure, these Beast Kingdom bodies take a bit to get used to but overall they are good quality. The only thing I don’t like is that there really isn’t an easy way to turn the eye lights on. You have to unzip the back and the switch is actually located under the battery compartment.
