Do NOT Stick on natural or rough fabrics - labels wash off first time
These labels wash off denim, cotton and any slightly rough fabrics the very first time they go in the washing machine. Indelible pen also begins to wash off the glossy surface, but that doesn't really matter since the labels are all loose in the washing machine, or lost inside other clothes! The only garments these labels stuck too were the kids' smooth polyester sports top and sports shorts. Otherwise they are completely and utterly useless.

When my kid's daycare sent a list advising of everything I would need to provide for him each day and that everything needed to be labeled, I was a bit taken aback. While I agreed that things should be labeled to prevent my things from going to another child, I did not agree with writing his name on every t- shirt, onesie, blanket, burp cloth, or change of clothes. I'm glad I found these labels. They are small enough to fit in the back of a 12 month old's clothing. I used an ultra fine point permanent marker to write on them, which was very easy and the name didn't smudge. They stick onto his clothes perfectly without issue and are very flexible. He couldn't even tell they were there so there was no pulling at a tag or collar. I haven't tried washing the garments yet but my baby has sweat and even gotten some water splashed onto him while wearing the labeled shirt and the label remained in tact.

These labels are inexpensive and stick well to clothing, and even better to clothing tags. They can last many washings. I use it to label my kids clothing.

I originally bought these to iron on the inside of T-shirts, but I never got round to doing that. Instead I used them for lots of other odd jobs around the house, like on spice jars, and microfibre cloths (Floor spills, Kitchen sink, Bathroom, Toilet) so I know where they've been, and where they can go. They do a fantastic job! I thought I would wait 6 months to see whether the labels fell off before posting my review, and they haven't. Still going strong, even through a hot wash cycle.
