Blank USA Map Outline Poster LAMINATED - 18" x 29" (For Use With Wet Erase Markers Only)

I primarily chose this map for the size and the fact that it came laminated. We really like this map hanging up in our playroom/homeschool room. The kids enjoy the bright colors that make it easy for them to identify each state from another (I have 1 non-reader and 1 early reader). The back of the map has another non-colored version of the same map (the states are tan), but the state lines are still different colors like the states on the front of the map. I think the back would be great for older individuals that might not necessarily love looking at a bright, colorful US map. The lamination on this map is high quality, and I appreciate the fact that I was able to attach it to the wall by simply using regular poster strips (some other laminated posters have not done as well using regular poster strips for some reason). The size is great, the font is easy to read when at eye level, and the price was great for the value. I also really liked that there was an info sheet in the package with directions on how to flatten the map (it comes tightly rolled up). I followed the directions exactly and the laminated mat is now flat and is flush against the wall. Overall, this was a GREAT purchase!

Perfect to teach my daughter the states! It's big and easy to wipe clean. There is a world map on one side and the USA on the other side.

High quality and exactly as described. The back has the same map in a lovely sort of sepia tone that is more what we were looking for so it was a nice surprise. You can see the sepia tone back in the pictures and there is also a video that shows it.

Attractive, good size. Perfect for a small wall section. Has lots of information, including the southern sections of Canada and the northern sections of Mexico. Has a plastic coating, for ease in cleaning. Good value.

Like all 5th graders in the US, my child needs to memorize the 50 states and their capitals for school. I decided it would be helpful to have a nice wall map so she can have a constant, visual reminder to assist her with that. Let’s be honest, too, that like most Americans, our household is not so good at American geography in general. ;) This map is a great refresher for all of us about this vast and lovely country we live in. It is actually 2-sided: 1 side is a brightly-colored, kid-friendly map, and the other side is a more subdued, “professional” color scheme. We have it with the bright colors out because it’s easier to see the different states, and I’m hoping it will provide a little more subliminal prompting to aid in memorizing everything. I like all the detail as well. There are a lot of cities and important landmarks on the map, and it’s great to be able to use that when we are talking about events that happened in a particular city or area. We have it placed next to our larger, world map, and they compliment each other nicely.Overall, I’m pretty pleased with this map. The lamination is pretty thin - you can probably use dry erase markers on it, but it can still easily crease or bend. For the price, though, it’s perfect for our purposes.

This map is good quality with heavy weight laminating. There's another map of the country similar to the one on the front that has less color. Don't hesitate to buy it.
