Take-Along Mini Color Wheel: 12 Numbered Swatches with Tints & Shades, 5 Color Plans

I bought the Take-Along Mini Color Wheel to take with me at our local craft stores. It has helped tremendously with choosing and coordinating colors of cardstock for scrapbooking, card making, mixed-media painting, and fabrics. It's a good purchase for me.

I absolutely love this little colour wheel. While I do have others, including the full "deck" of colour cards from the same J. Wolfrom, I find this little wheel so much easier to use when I'm physically in a fabric shop. It's easy to carry in my purse, and I can see all colour schemes at once without having to flip thru cards, reshuffle cards and the 12 wheel is less confusing to use on the spot than the 24 wheel. The full deck I use at home to do very detailed planning, but in the shops, this one beats them all, and has made my shopping trips more time efficient and less stressful.

I hoped this one is little bit bigger than what it is. It is just my personal opinion. All good. As it is small, it is compact and easy to carry.

This is a small version of Joen Wolfram's Ives color wheel. Still has all the shades and tones. Great for someone learning to work with color. This one is a gift for my teen-age quilting students.
