Will this work for a carpet beetle infestation?

No, it does. Ot work for carpet beetles. I bought a few and tried. Even put one next to an adult to see if it would move into the trap overnight. It didn't move into the trap over a 12 hour period that it was literally right next to the trap. I think it's more for moths. I was pointed at this trap by a website that said it worked on carpet beetles too.
