bought this 12-pack of extra-long silicone straws for my wife after her favorite one broke in her go-to cup — and she loves them! The length is perfect for taller tumblers, and they have just the right flexibility without feeling flimsy. For me as a caregiver, this was a very useful straw. My wife needed extended time in a hospital bed at home. To provide her with water, I used one of these straws in a tall water bottle strapped on the bed side rail. The length of the straw and its flexibility were perfect. My wife could easily reach over and easily bend the straw as needed, keeping it fully down in the liquid. The straw can easily be cleaned and is durable. It was also nice to have the color choices.

Great purchase for the money, very pliable, super long (which feel free to cut to length), thicker than any others I've purchased, so they are durable and hold up well. The brush that is included (2 actually) is long as well and slides right in for ease of cleaning. Almost every color to fit whatever your style and look at the picture for how it looks. Straw diameter is perfect for getting the right amount to drink. Well worth the money.

Great straws, but less like straws and more like rubber tubes. I wasn't prepared for how such a long straw would be so tube-like. There's almost no rigidity in them.

Fit my drinking tumbler. Can be cut to fit length needed. I like the pliable silicone. It is long enough for the 40 oz. insulated tumbler with handle.

Fit perfect. Easy to clean with a straw brush makes them reusable and they are slightly thicker than a regular straw. Love that they are soft silicone but sturdy.

I find these straws to perfectly meet my needs. I did not notice any smell or taste. My sense of smell isn't the best. They would only be floppy if I were using a small glass and can be cut to accommodate that size so that shouldn't be an issue. The brush does fit snuggly and I suggest only pushing it half way through the straw and cleaning from each end. Caveat.. I did not wet either the straw or the brush. With some soap and water that might prove to be quick cleaning job. I used the sharp end of a pair of scissors to get it back out. I don't foresee any mold issues when the straws are washed and dried correctly. I don't plan to be drinking shakes or smoothies with these and can't comment on that aspect.

My son likes to chew straws and so plastic straws aren't really usable anymore. These silicone straws are a bit too flexible, a bit too hard to clean, and they collect hair and dust like crazy. I thought it would be a firmer, less hair-attracting sort of silicone. You need to wash them off every time before using them. You can't just put them through a dishwasher and then leave them in a drawer, then pull them out and use them. In the end, I just got my son the little silicone nubs and use them on metal straws. He can chew them and both the nubs and the metal straws are easy to clean and generally stay clean.
