OK on the basics - but there are better Academic English books on the market
This is aimed at the American freshman student. For those who want to write academic essay at UK or EMI in Europe it is limited. The chapters on argumentative essay and citations is poor. It does not cover paraphrasing or synthszing texts. The examplar texts and the style are not academic.
