First and foremost, Rasasi's Daarej is a "clone" of Valentino V Pour Homme which was released back in 2006 and almost 10 years later it was discontinued. The original cologne retailed for around $150. Today, due to its lingering popularity and demand, there are some original bottles being sold on eBay for as high as $550. Now for the real question: How close to Valentino V is Rasasi's version, Daarej? As someone who has owned both, the original and the clone, I can tell you that Daarej is 99% like the original by Valentino. This is a well crafted clone by a very strong and established perfume house. To those who are complaining about the staying power, I have no complaints about that, it does great for 10 hours. For me personally, it is a cologne that works great well in daytime or nighttime, and it has always garnered compliments. Can this be a UNISEX cologne? I don't know, but what I can say is that there are a lot of women's perfumes out there that are strong enough to smell like a man's Cologne. Calvin Klein made $90 million ANNUALLY in the mid 90's selling its CK One Unisex cologne. So it all depends on how things are marketed. Valentino's V Perfume Pour Homme was marketed strictly for men. The one thing that I will add is this, perfumes smell very differently on people, and that is because of the personal PH and chemicals in our skins. For example, I own Coach for men, that smells very differently when I spray it on me rather than my clothes. I tend to spray it on my shirts, where it smells better than on my skin. NOTES: V pour Homme by Valentino is a Oriental Woody fragrance for men. The heart encompasses elegant cedar, sandalwood, ambergris and musk. The base contains jasmine, heliotrope, cocoa, patchouli, ambergris and vanilla. The perfume was created in 2006.

both of my boys love cologne so i have been buying them some cologne every month ... this one is 9/10. the bootle is beautiful but a lil heavy ... the bottle size is exactly like the pic and it is very easy to use. its fruity but very masculinity plus the scent of it smell amazing

I picked up Daarej Pour Homme not knowing what to expect, and wow… this fragrance really surprised me. The scent opens with a warm, spicy vibe that feels elegant and masculine without being overpowering. As it settles, it becomes smoother and sweeter, with a rich, slightly exotic smell that gets better the longer you wear it. Performance: The longevity is excellent—easily lasts 6–8 hours on my skin, and even longer on clothes. The projection is strong for the first couple of hours, then stays close and pleasant. Compliments: I’ve already had a few people ask me what I’m wearing. It smells way more expensive than it actually is. Bottle: The bottle looks premium, very solid and stylish. honestly i dont know why this is so popular. The scent is watered down and doesnt last long. The bottle is pretty and the sprayer is good quality. The challenge is that its a suble scent, and not something I would buy again.

I bought this perfume for my brother and he loved it! He couldn’t believe how good this smells. It opens spicy, then becomes slightly floral, and finishes sweet, warm, and woody. He gets compliment after compliment every time he wears it. If you’re on the fence, get it, get it. You won’t regret it. It smells amazing. Sorry I don’t have a picture.
