Fantastic solution overall! It worked great while we were away (3weeks) and I came back to healthy, watered and more than anything ALIVE plants.I found reading previous detailed reviews very useful in terms of the initial setup.It’s relatively easy and self explanatory yet things like pre-planning your placement before cutting and installing the watering tubes, elevating the water container to a similar level to where your plants are, testing out the actual amount of water coming out of each watering spike aren’t mentioned in the instruction booklet.What’s worth paying attention to also is that the time duration on the display is accurate - 3 days means 3 days, yet the water quantity isn’t.I had to play with a few amounts to then decide what will be sufficient for my plants as for example water display set to 200 dispensed about 40-50ml of water out of each spike rather than what you may assume will be 200ml.I tested it as a few reviews mentioned it.All in all I’m really happy with the purchase and will be using it whenever I go away.What I’ve no idea about is how to effectively dry out the tubes after use without having to disassemble the whole thing which still wouldn’t really let me wipe out all the remaining water.

Good, easy to set up. A small part broke off and the manufacturer replaced the unit even after it was out of the 30 day return. Good customer service.

The media could not be loaded. Unit arrived with flat battery but I've plugged it in in a power bank and it was good to go for the initial tests. Time will tell how durable the battery is.For the initial test I wanted to make sure that the specified quantity of water would be correct, and wow, it is! I made a short video to show the overall simple functions, and the "delivery" test. It's BANG ON very precise.Note that you MUST add the watering stakes at the end of the tube in order to have a precise delivery. In the video I didn't quite install it all the way through and there's some water sprinkled on the top side, make sure you insert it fully to about that, the water will flow perfectly to the bottom of the stake if done correctly.If your tubes are just open then the system will deliver a much much higher amount, which is what I suspect many negative reviews came from.I didn't try with multiple pipes but as long as you use the watering stakes that "constrict" the flow of water, I think it will work just fine.I'll do a few more tests with the final setup (multiple plants) and will measure the water in each sub-section, and update this review accordingly. Until then... Happy watering!UPDATE: I've tried with a T-join and 2 stakes, and th delivery was 150ml instead of 100ml. While the system was extremely precise with one single pipe+stake, you may want to check the final system (multiple pipes/stakes) performance to be sure! Maybe it can get calibrated (kind of like you can set the desired amount on Nespresso machines), but it's a question for the vendor

Very good for greenhouse watering.I connected it through a converter to a car battery, filled out three large buckets with water, went on a holiday and two weeks later all our tomatoes and herbs were in good shape.Brilliant piece of kit.

Good features, bad reliability

I tested it and it worked well for a week, then I went on holiday for a month and it failed and my plants died. I contacted the supplier and as it was past the short 30 day return period (I was on holiday for a month!) they ignored me. Do not buy this product if you value your plants.
