Peavey VYPYR® X2 Guitar Modeling Amp

Fantastic amp. Super cool features on it. Great value for the money easy to use. The decent size amp so make sure you got the right amount of room. Puts out excellent sound for the size.

This is a great amp, good for every style of music, the Sanpera footpedal is a must, plenty of different sond bank options, has killer tone and sound, power is more than ample, it is not very heavy at all, great amp for practice or for gigs.

Simply awesome. I use it for bass guitars,* electric guitars and acoustic guitars with pickups. All operate flawlessly. This modeling amplifier offers more tonal options out of the box than I will ever take advantage of. This is a great practice amp and is powerful enough to work in a small venue. I have to keep the master volume below 3 and the guitar volume below five to avoid disturbing the neighbors! For years I used the predecessor model VIP2 when I lived in Europe, but it was a 220 volt versions so I sold it before moving to the USA. This current model (110v, of course) is terrific and does everything I want. Highly recommended! *Note: If you do not play bass, the less expensive X1 model will suit just as well. I bought this model for the extended low range available to the larger speaker.

Excellent amplifier ! Excellent sound !

The tone out of this is impressive, hard to believe it's a solid state 112. The distortions are very good and it's the best modeling amp I've heard particularly for metal tones. The 6505 and 6534 amps are crushingly good and accurate models to my ear, the classic a bit less-so but still sounds good. There are several usable effects as well as the bass and acoustic amp capabilities. For bass, you'll want to use the built in compression or you'll lose some frequencies but it does a surprisingly decent job as a bass amp with its partial open back cabinet. Overall a killer combo amp with tons of versatility.

Received “brand new” Vypyr X2 and it was not working out of the box. It appeared to have been open before. All the LED’s on the control panel are flashing and there is a loud squealing sound coming from the amp. I tried to contact both the seller and Peavey. Each had full voice mail boxes and emails returned undeliverable. I returned the product and purchased a different amp from a local retailer.

Bought this for my son for graduation. He loves it and says the sound is great. Plenty of options when playing. Would recommend for the price.

Sonne bien tout de suite. Pas besoin de relier avec un téléphone car tout ce que vous avez besoin est sur le panneau de contrôle. J adore les amplificateurs peavey depuis mon jeune âge ! Celui est mon préféré . Le 12 pouces ne manque pas de puissance. Assez fort pour jouer avec un groupe complet. Le batteur vous entendra très bien ainsi que tous les autres dans la salle.
