I instantly fell in love with the series because of its humorous, pure, and cozy vibes. Overall, the series is an outstanding rarity in the shonen anime genre. While the majority of other entries in the genre focus on teenage angst, Spy x Family focuses on the everyday moments of a family, albeit a found family. Twilight/Loid Forger is a brilliant spy; his wife, Yor Forger, is an assassin; and Anya Forger is Twilight's adopted daughter with telepathic abilities. Because of the series' distinctiveness this year, I began collecting the manga as well. The events in volume 7 are similar to those of the anime’s final episode of Season 1 and the first episodes of Season 2. The volume begins with Twilight having just met his target, Donovan Desmond, for the first time. The rest of the volume is filled with interesting tales involving some of the series' supporting characters, such as Damien, Yuri, and Frankie, which primarily center on their daily lives. The volume finishes by setting up the cruise ship storyline, in which Yor acts as a bodyguard for a gangster's widow and child. Overall, as with the rest of the series, I thoroughly enjoyed the book. If I have one problem about the series, it's that Yor, my favorite character, sometimes gets overlooked in favor of Twilight or Anya. Nonetheless, with the cruise ship arc, I am confident that this inequity will be remedied. Spy X Family is a must-read for everyone who likes comedy and manga. It’s hard to make unique reviews of these books but overall review - it’s great still. I am sad I’m almost done reading it. This one flew by especially fast.

As described/ gave as gift
Not familiar with the story. This was a requested gift. It has been a request through out the series for younger teen/adult. So I am guessing it catches their interest.
