Nice and easy, just be careful with your fingertips.
Bought this product to "fix" the hollow, echoey sound my car doors were making. The contents came in a brown box and was much heavier than I originally expected. Roughly 30-pounds. Inside the box were 9 sheets of the sound deadening material, each sheet being 36 square feet. The material was thick, yet easy to cut with a simple box cutter. I was easily able to cut through the material and backing with no trouble what so ever. Applying the deadening mat was even easier. Wipe the exposed metal with alcohol (or alcohol and water mixture), then remove the backing and apply. It's highly advised you purchase a wood roller. I attempted to push it flat and flush by hand. It wasn't long before I noticed LOTS of small but annoying cuts on my fingertips. Use the wood roller if you don't want mutilated fingertips. In short, I spent more time removing and cleaning the door than I did applying the deadening material. For my Subaru Legacy, 1 and a half sheets covered the entire driver side door. That includes the panel behind the door speaker as well as the panel holding the door speaker. I applied the deadening matter pretty thick, there wasn't much exposed metal when I was done. The end result sound of the door went from a very hollow metal sound to a VERY satisfying full door sound. It sounds like the door is one solid piece of metal. In terms of added weight, the door feels no heavier, eventhough it sounds like it weighs a ton when closing the door. The one thing I like is as you're flattening the mat, the black "glue" expands about 1/8-inch beyond the mat, letting you know that it's going to hold firm. In short, I'm very happy with the product. And for those wondering if you have to be a professional to apply this. As long as you can remove your car door interior panel (tutorials are easy to find on YouTube), you should be able to apply this with very little problem and have some good results. Again, PURCHASE A WOODEN ROLLER AND SAVE YOUR FINGERTIPS! Again, great product. As a first time installer of it, the job was easy and gave satisfying results.

A solid investment for a base model or older vehicle.
In short, If you're looking to breathe a little life into an unremarkable economy vehicle or make your commute a little more comfortable, get it. ------------------------------------------------------- I drive a 2010 Nissan Altima, base model. One box was enough to do the floor, back bottom seat and half of the back wall. It was easiest to apply by cutting it into smaller rectangular shapes and making a patchwork with a little overlap. It cut easily with shears. WEAR GLOVES. The edges are sharp and the adhesive is...very effective. This stuff is impressive. Will it turn your economy sedan into an S Class? Nope. Will it make your car more comfortable and less stressful to be in. Heck yeah! I think you'll get the best value here if you're looking to improve a daily driver. A sound meter on my phone shows a 10 decibel decrease at all speeds. The road noise in my base Altima was so bad that people would comment on it and ask if I was riding a flat tire. Even alone the ride was noisy and fatiguing. After doing the floor I immediately noticed less engine idle "noise" (vibration). Pavement is still pavement, asphalt is still asphalt. However, when I reached my destination and parked I realized that for the first time in probably a decade I wasn't thinking about how much I wanted to be out of the car. I picked up a friend for a ride and they agreed. A vast improvement. Road noise is still there but it isn't an overpowering roar and seems to level out between 40mph and 60mph then increase with speed.

Great value, big difference in quality of door speaker sound
Great value. I bought this as an more cost-effective alternative Dynamat. Came quickly, went on as described. I did front and rear doors of my 2017 Toyota Tacoma. It took me about 3X longer than I thought it would (that way with any project of mine it seems). The doors of my Tacoma sound like a BMW when they shut...very solid. I was surprised (pleasantly) at how much better the bass of my 4 door speakers (JL Audio) sounded...not more bass, but tighter and no longer had as many buzzes from door or door panel. I had about 2/3 of a sheet of the Noico left when finished. I would recommend this to a friend and I would purchase again. Tip 1: I DID use weatherstripping foam between the speaker and the door panel in the rear doors--NO buzzes. I ran out and didn't use the weatherstripping foam in the front doors and I have a buzz at higher volumes at certain bass frequencies. Plan to go back and fix that someday. Tip 2: I didn't use the Noico material behind the plastic panels in the rear driver's side where my 10" JL sub is located. Mistake. I now hear buzzes and rattles that I never noticed BEFORE I installed the Noico in the doors...no other changes. What that means to me is that these buzzes and rattles from the sub were always there, I just couldn't hear them as they were masked from similar sounds from the door speakers. Now that I have the Noico in the doors, I CAN hear them. I plan to go back and use the rest of the Noico to deaden those panels one Saturday morning soon I hope.

Have used this product in three fo my personal vehicles. Easy to work with and great sound deadening, not to mention heat barrier I found . Always arrived on time or early. Used the bigger sheets for bulk of floor to get your mojo happening. This smaller size works great for tight areas with a lot of curves .Use the back paper as a template will get you the to a nice fit ! After that corners and curves - you will feel like a Pro - which I am not , but wasted little.

I have tried similar products at higher price. After read some articles about Noico, I decided to have a try. The result was surprising good. This affordable products give a top level performance and comparable to several famous brands. Higher recommended!!

Best thing i got for our car. We have an Aygo, and it sounded hollow when you drove it. Doors sound like an aluminium can when tapping it or opening/closing the doors. It is especially visible onve you pass the 30 mph on our British roads, really noisy and echos throughout the car. I have put this on the door, boot and wheel arches. And it is if you drive a completely different car. Ot took me about 4 hours to fit this to the car. You remove the door covers, cut the material to measurement, peel the paper sticker, place it in place and firmly press it on (i used a roller). Fast, easy and effective. These 4 hours I spent on fitting this to the car, was the best thing I did. The ride quality is completely different and provides really relaxing and quiet journey.
