I just opened and tore apart my note cards. Once I divided the cards in stacks, it struck me how big these stacks were- so glad to get these cards to even realize there could be this many topics- on my own I would have blown off arts and health, thinking they would all be common sense. It was good to see all the details, in case it was an essay question. It's been awhile since I blue-booked an essay question and I had forgotten about specific names, details and descriptions. These cards will help me focus.

I have just started the certification process and love, love, love both the flashcards and the Study Guide!! The flashcards are very specific, easy to read and understand.I already feel more confident and I just got them!! I am a veteran teacher of 29 years and I would highly recommend these products to anyone taking this journey! I know I am going to share these products at my classes !!

I have already taken the exam previously and had no idea to adequately prepare. I studied here and there. Well, we all know how that worked out. I love the cards because I can take a stack and place them in my handbag. I think I am going to do pretty well.

The information listed on the cards is very detailed and helpful as I am studying. Some of the information I have not thought about in many years and the refreshers are quite helpful so far. The cards are easy to organize on a ring as I am studying each subject too.

I am so impressed with the organization of this system and how I will be able to personalize the study cards to my way of studying for the National Boards for Teachers.

Not super helpful. These are very broad and contain errors. I found multiple cards with incorrect headings or information that was not completely accurate. Additionally, there is information that should not be included for MC Gen because it applies to older students (high school). There was no section on pedagogy/educational theory, so I supplemented there with info I found online. I wish I had just done that with every subject.

I found these flashcards to be a waste of time and money for two reasons: 1. They just contained word-for-word repeats of the information in the Mometrix SECRETS Study Guides that I had also bought. There was nothing new, and additionally, the information was set up in giant text blocks that defeat the purpose of flashcards. 2. Upon actually taking the NBPTS Middle Childhood Generalist exam, I discovered that these flashcards (and the study guides) are not even close to being aligned to the questions on the exam.

These cards are extremly vague. I have had to go and look up several of the topics on the cards. Its a good reminder to go look up the information. Overall, these cards are only ok.
