The Code of the Extraordinary Mind Instaread - (Not full version of book)
As someone who strives for intentional living and minimalism, I can certainly appreciate many of the points Lakhiani explores in this Instaread. Ultimately, he argues that happiness and containment can only come from one's self. As long as we are living by cultural/soceital norms and allowing the actions, decisions, and opinions of others to affect us, we can not obtain true satisfaction in our lives.Lakhiani explains that people don't realize how controlled they are by society and culture, and that unfortunately affects so many aspects of their lives, despite the fact that they believe they are living for themselves. He provided the example of a recent college graduate who tossed out her dreams of being an artist and followed her family's 'norm' of becoming a lawyer. She lived unhappily for many years until she quit and decided to follow her art dreams. Even though she made the decision to become a lawyer herself, it was a decision that was heavily influence.A large portion of the Instaread was focused on the power of the mind and how it influences every day life. When we go into something with a negative outlook, chances are the outcome will also be negative. But when we make decisions with optimism, Lakhiani says that that positive influence has a tremendous effect on goal achievement. He also touches on goal setting and the importance of setting goals that are dependent on one's own self, instead of goals that require outside influence in order to become a reality.Ultimately, Lakhiani says that we are each in charge of our own happiness and need to toss out everything that gets in the way of living an autonomous life. While I can't say that I totally identify with all aspects of this Instaread, I do believe that this book could really help someone ditch mainstream society and live a much simpler, satisfying life.I received this title at a discount price in exchange for an honest review.

Very good summary
The summary is concise and well written. It feels a little thin -- just one page for some of the takeaways. This may be the result of the source material being thin also. Reading the summary helped me to decide against buying Lakhiani's book, since I am familiar with these concepts from other sources.

Interesting self-help thoughts
Author had some thought provoking thoughts on how to be extraordinary. Using words like "following your brules" and being Godicle was an interesting way to focus on improving self-image and being the genuine you! This instaread was given to me and it made me want to read the actual book!

outlining main copy, quick review
It is a summary outline of the main book. It is a review of the important points. After reading the full book and taking notes, this condensed version refreshes the divisions and topics and is an adjunct for enforcing learning. Works for me.

NEW IDEAS ON HOW TO FIND A BETTER LIFE
This is an overview of the actual book “Code of the Extraordinary Mind.“ Kind of like an abbreviated ‘Cliff's Notes’ for the FULL book. It provides a potential reader enough information regarding the book’s content to determine if we want to invest the extra money and time to actually buy and read the entire book. This is essentially a 'self-help' book which includes some new and original thinking by the author on methods for improving your success in many facets of life. It also serves as a perfect example of why, at .99 cents, reading this summary by "Instareads" is a good value. You can go through the short summary and it will quickly give you all the information you need to decide if you're going to want to proceed with the entire book.
