VHS-C Wet Head Cleaner with Cleaning Fluid

Unfortunately this ended up not working for my Panasonic PV-L454 or 453 Camcorders. It immediately says the tape is at the end even if you rewind it. However I am not going to return it as I will just stick it in a VHS adapter and use it on my VCR’s. The wet cleaning tapes are getting hard to find.

Junk did not work in my camcorder it just jammed up, would not turn! The product looked very old like it was from the 19 hundreds...... Do not buy!

the old one fit straight into the VHS player like a cassette, you just put fluid into it, ran it through like a cassette to make it work again. Luckily I still had my old one so took the fluid from this new one and applied it like I did before, it worked. This new gadget must be for something smaller as it does not fit into the player. Wish I could just buy the fluid as it is a waste to have the gadget that I can't use.

This thing is quite possibly the worst thing I have ever used. It ended up getting chewed up into my camera and now the camera thinks it has permanent water damage. Stay away from this. It *will* damage your cameras, like the others have been saying UPDATE: it absolutely destroyed my VHSC camcorder. Totally ruined the capstan rollers, stressed out some plastic bits and completely ruined all of the mechanisms. Something about the texture of this tape does not work well in camcorders. It’s totally ruined. Owned this camera for over a decade too. I’m so mad.

Definitely helpful for getting trash off camcorder heads, though its design is actually suboptimal for its usage. Then again, none of the cleaning tapes do allow for the best cleaning they could.

Cleaning tape came out all at once. Did not clean heads and jammed up mechanism in the camera. Causing camera to throw an error and lock up. My old one did better. I wound up cleaning the heads by hand with cleaning solution and swabs from a camera store.
