Its perlite what else can I say it does what I need it to do in my pot plants

I ordered "Volkanix Premium Horticultural Perlite Coarse Grade 3-8mm 20 Litre Recyclable Paper Bag"I bought this because (1) it is advertised as using ecofriendly packaging (the title literally says "20 Litre Recyclable Paper Bag"), and (2) I needed coarse perlite, and this listing said "3-8mm".As for (1), mine came in two separate plastic bags with 10L each which is a wasteful. I then re-read the fine print of the listing and noticed that it says "where possible", recyclable paper bags will be used -- but that's not what the title of the product says at all.As for (2), the labels on the bags themselves say UKGrow 3-5mm perlite. I guess it is TECHNICALLY still accurate to call it 3-8mm as the 3-5mm falls into that range... but again, just very misleading. I will still need to go buy another product that has some coarser bits so I'm not sure this was a good purchase for me. I will have to find another use for it.It's not Volkanix. It's not 3-8mm. And it's not in paper packaging. However I guess in terms of value for money, if you don't mind that the product is something other than what's advertised, it's decent perlite slightly cheaper than some of the other options out there.

Great perlite for drainage. Much larger than regular store brought perlite.

Just what I wanted

Ordered as stated with recyclable bag , came inOrange bin liner taped closed obviously came from larger bag false advertising and was 2ltr short should have rejected it very low grad product wouldn't recommend it for the money b&q would be better option.

This was one of two types of perlite bought from same supplier. Nominally slightly different sizes and packaging, however, what I received were matching for both types -- same packaging and sizes and no manufacturer labels to distinguish. Not overly happy on that front, as the two types did have slightly different price points too. However, the material itself works great.

Although there is nothing inherently wrong with this perlite, it's perfectly functional and a very good price for the amount you get. My only issue is that I needed something much more coarse for chunky aroid mixes, and the bag I received was largely made up of fine, dusty pieces. There were a number of pieces ranging from 3-8mm in size as advertised, but I would say 90% is smaller than the brand I usually go with (Westland Gro Sure). The size of the perlite is the only reason this gets 3* from me, I have no other issues with the product, but it will now only get used for potting smaller plants.

The media could not be loaded. The product itself is great, bag full to the brim! Just a shame they didn't tape the bag shut before boxing and sending 😂Brought the box in and noticed a trail of perlite, pick the box up and it's all coming out of the bottom. Opened it up and the bottom of the box was full. The bag had been taped shut but they completely missed the opening.
