Works great to remove etchings on marble countertops
I have a white marble bathroom countertop and two beige bathroom countertops. All three were in bad shape, especially around the sinks. Etchings from makeup, toothpaste, various soap products, and spilled CLR made these countertops look pretty bad. Other than calling in the professionals and spending at least $600 to clean up the mess, I decided to give MB Stone MB-11 a try. The bad news is it takes a lot of rubbing using significant force to remove the stains on the countertops. The etching made by the CLR were the hardest to remove. It took multiple times applying the compound to a moist rag and rubbing the etching to remove the stains. The good news is this product saved the day. Following the directions, I was able to remove all the etchings and made the countertops look almost new. It took me the better part of 5 hours to do all three countertops, but it was well worth the effort. I did buy this product from Amazon's warehouse deal for $31, which was a great value. The next project is to seal the countertops, which is needed to prevent future stains. I would highly recommend MB-11 for a DIY project. It is not messy and doesn't require any buffing equipment (just elbow grease). It really works, but it is time-consuming, and I guarantee your hands and fingers will be sore when you are done. The powder goes a long way, I still have 2/3rds of the jar left after completing my project. I have attached a before and after picture of one of the countertops. I would recommend MB-11 and would purchase it again.

Worked great
This stuff works! We are in a rental and the previous tenants took poor care of the marble countertops. Alltough some etching didn’t budge, it did a great job taking off some of it. Our counters are sparkling! Beware smell is strong and it did make me a little lightheaded. Open the window when using, and wear a mask.

Saved My Travertine Floors! (But Plan for a Second Pass)
I had a terrible lemonade spill on my travertine tile floors which resulted in two very noticeable, dull etch marks. I was skeptical about any product that could fix acid damage, but I decided to try MB Stone MB-11® Touch-Up Etch Remover. I applied it to the etched areas exactly as directed. The difference after the first treatment was significant! The worst of the dullness is gone, and the marks are definitely less noticeable. While the damage isn't totally vanished, I believe a second treatment will get it much closer to perfect. If you have light etching on polished stone like travertine, this is absolutely worth the investment before calling a professional. It improved the area enough that I can easily live with it, and I'm optimistic a second round will finish the job. Highly recommended for DIY etch removal.

Works on marble that has been etched by vinegar. Great product!
I used this product on my bathroom sink (white marble) and it worked really well. I accidentally spilt some apple cider vinegar on the sink and it etched the marble pretty bad (it went from polished to dull spots that would not come out). You have to rub it in fairly well to get the polished look back but it did work. It looks 100 times better than before. It's not 100% perfect though: it will leave slight buff marks behind, which I believe is the powdery substance interacting with your original smooth marble finish (keep in mind this stuff is for buffing out the dull marble to get it glossy again) and so it's nothing huge or significant that you will notice, it's just barely there. I'm glad I bought this stuff because the wife would have killed me if she had seen it (I managed to buff it out and tell her afterward! Lol...Thank God for two day shipping!)

Effective products for marble
So easy to use and completely removed the etching from cat vomit. Have also used their stain reeper for shampoo drip on shower wall..Completely removed it as well. I have a newly remodeled home with opal marble..very porous.. called MB stone and they told me exactly what to do. Great products!

Received a used product.
The container looked old and worn. The cap was cracked and unsealed. It was about 2/3 full like it has been already used. I’m not sure if the powder is even the right product.

Well it works ..... but......
So .... after a few attempts and a lot of research....this does work. However....I’m now hesitant to use it on small etching spots. I have found it extremely difficult to keep the MB-11 in one small spot. When you rub it in, you naturally rub around the spot - not just right in the middle of it so then the outside of the spot needs rubbed cause you’ll just cause more etching if you don’t, then so on and so on. It’s hard to find a stopping place. The MB-11 is so fine that it just goes everywhere no matter how hard I try to keep it in a small section. It’s so fine that you can’t see it spread. I think I would only use this if I need to do a bigger section OR need to get a bad obvious stain out of it. But next time I’m using a buffer instead of doing it by hand. It takes A LOT of elbow grease and muscle to use. Like I was sweating just doing a small spot. So it does work but it seemed to create more work for me and more spots to buff. I also followed the directions to a T and tried it several times. Good luck.

Works really well on polished marble to restore etch spots
Works incredibly well on polished marble, works okay on honed as well even though it's not supposed to be as good for that I think
