Amazing tint
This is my favorite lip tint! On me, the color is 'your lips but better', soft, natural, and super flattering. The stain lasts and fades beautifully without settling into lip lines, especially when I apply just a little and blend it out. It doesn’t dry out my lips (I do use a balm underneath), and it smells lovely too. The quality is amazing for the price! I loved it so much, I even went back and got another shade. Definitely recommend!

The Perfect Fusion of Lipstick Glamour and Lip Tint Ease
As a seasoned lip tint enthusiast, ETUDE's Fixing Tint in #05 Midnight Mauve caught my attention, and I must say, it's a game-changer. Blurring the lines between lipstick and lip tint, this product offers a unique and satisfying blend of glamour and comfort. While some might argue it leans a bit more towards lipstick, I found the balance to be just right. The high pigmentation delivers a bold and long-lasting color, reminiscent of a classic lipstick, but without the heavy, cakey feel. The lightweight formula glides on smoothly, creating a velvety texture that feels surprisingly gentle on the lips. What sets this tint apart is its staying power. The rich hue of Midnight Mauve stayed vibrant throughout the day, surviving meals and sips with impressive resilience. The applicator also deserves a nod for its precision, allowing for easy and controlled application. In conclusion, if you're seeking a lip product that combines the best of both lipstick and lip tint worlds, ETUDE's Fixing Tint #05 Midnight Mauve is worth a try. It strikes the perfect balance between high-pigmented color and a comfortable, feather-light feel, leaving your lips looking and feeling fabulous.

I love the color, but doesn’t last all day
This goes in very smooth and the color looks great. It goes on glossy, but dries to a Matt look. It’s fairly inexpensive as well. If you put on too much, it’s very easy to remove. However, it’s not exactly long lasting. It seems like a normal lip tint and wears off fairly quickly.

My favorite!
I always shied away from lipsticks and lip color because of the hassle of reapplying. I was more of a tinted lip balm kind of girl. I’m so happy to have found these fixing tints and they’re a game changer for me. I am very fair skinned (MAC NW15) and I own and love most of the shades. I know some folks had mentioned that some of the shades are too similar, but my own lips are not very pigmented naturally, and so I can tell the difference between all the shades when wearing them. Maybe the natural pigmentation of your own lips is what determines if the shades look the same on you or not.Anyway, if you love the NARS velvet matte lip pencil in Dolce Vita, I recommend you try Midnight Mauve or Salmon Brick in the fixing tint, as they really remind me of Dolce Vita. For an even closer match I will layer some Dusty Beige on top of the Midnight Mauve or Salmon Brick. I just love having a Dolce Vita dupe in a long wearing formula. For application, what worked best for me was following guidance I saw on YouTube: dot a small amount in the center of your lips and use your ring finger to blend it out on your lips. Let it dry a few seconds and repeat 1-2 times for more intense color. If you try to apply it the same way you would with, for example, an opaque Sephora matte liquid lipstick, where you paint it on with the wand, I don’t think you’ll like the results. These fixing tints really work best being blended out, as it brings out the true color and gives lips a pillowy soft, comfortable feeling and appearance.EDIT: I added a photo comparing NARS Dolce Vita velvet matte lip pencil with 1 layer of Etude Fixing Tint in Midnight Mauve, let dry, then 1 layer of the fixing tint in Dusty Beige on top. Hope this helps!!EDIT2: Try them over lip liner for color adjustment and more longevity! I was worried the Smoky Cherry fixing tint might be too bright for my complexion because it’s kind of a hot pink. So I took a Revlon lip liner in Mauve and filled in my lips completely with it, then dabbed the Smoky Cherry fixing tint on top with my ring finger. This transformed the hot pink fixing tint into a totally wearable medium pink shade, and the lip liner underneath made it last longer. Hooray!

Good pigment and stay but…
I was looking for a cheaper alternative to one of the stain and peel products I’ve found and decided to give this a try. The pigment was nice and it did stay overnight without being actively wiped off/removed. But I didn’t like the tacky feeling and couldn’t really rub my lips together. It definitely wasn’t “kiss proof” and noticed lip color on my straw. It’s a nice product but I don’t think I’ll buy again, I’ll just stick to the Wonderskin brand I really like for a good lip stain that I can add gloss/chap stick over

I shop at Sephora and Ulta, but this is my go-to.
My favorite lip tint. I shop at Sephora and Ulta, but this is my go-to. Gorgeous color, perfect tint you can blot easily after initial application to further dilute color, more than decent staying power. Not sticky at all. No smell. I continue to buy again and again. Love it!

Really Nice!
This is surprisingly nice! I can't wear many longwear lip stains due to dryness or peeling or allergic reactions, but this causes no problems for me so far. I doesn't last forever, but it's pretty nice for a good while. I have Midnight Mauve and Rose Blending. The Cover Girl Outlast Moisturizing Topcoat is nice over the top.
