Omg!!! Life saver in this heatwave!!! Ordered Friday came Saturday, great price, works great! Buy buy buy!!!!!!

So, first, if you add cold water, and ice blocks, this is a nifty little cooler, cheaper than AC, an can keep you sane in a heat wave.The noise level is ok, you might have to turn any music or tv up a level or 2, but it is fairly quiet for what it is.The "removable tank", is fixed in with a cable tie, to keep the pump inlet submerged.... if you need to detach it, the pump inlet will float and be less effective, unless you go bodging it yourself (y'know the little plastic coated metal ties they put around cables? they work a treat).So all in all, any good? yeah. compared to fans in a similar price group, don't even bother, go straight to this. There's other brands, but this is the one i bought and know.Shame i bought it august 22, and by early may 23, the pump had ceased functioning, and by the start of june, i returned to the room it was in, to find a smell of burnt plastic, and a very dead cooler. However, totally gonna buy another, even though somehow amazon doesn't guarentee it for even a year, meaning if you wish to take action and excercise your consumer rights....it's probably not worth the £50-£60 cost of a new unit. Give up, hail bezos. Buy more.

I never give a bad review but on this occasion I have to be honest and say please don’t waste your money as the unit isn’t as described, it doesn’t cool and is very noisy. I have requested a return/refund but customer has to pay postage which is very costly and is grossly unfair as the return is based on unit not being as described.

I never do reviews, but i felt I had to do this one. This cooling system really works. After the hot weather we are having the fans I had just we’re not working. So I took a chance and bought this. It’s a great size, easy to use, it really does cool down the room. It’s a tiny bit noisy but not too loud. But to be honest a little bit of noise really out ways the lovely cold air it puts out. Well worth the price. I would highly recommend 👍👍Little tip I use is I put a couple of ice cubes in the water tank as well as the ice packs.

Unfortunately, it does not cool the air, and that is what I wanted. It is simply a larger fan and as a fan I recommend it. As an air cooler I do not recommend it. Therefore 3 stars. Fast and efficient shipping. Packed with care.

A bit more compact than I was expecting but it is a decent cooler. Easy on the eye, mine has now blended in with the rest of the furniture. After seeing mine, my Grandad and Mother in Law both now have one also.All functions can be controlled from both the remote and the unit itself. Comes with 2 ice packs which is handy, I just alternate between the freezer and the cooler when I need to have constant cooling. Smaller sized flat ice packs (like the type for portable coolers) would also fit.The only negative I have is that the water tank does not have a closed lid, which looks to me like the water could spill easily if moved too quickly or vigorously.And one thing I have to say, even though it seems so insignificant, the dock for the remote is one of my favourite things about it. EVERY remote operated device should have this feature!

If you want a unit that is going to cool and air condition a room then you need to look elsewhere. I have been running it on full power, tank full of water, ice packs and ice cubes and a room thermometer monitoring temperature. Windows and doors all shut in a 12x 12 foot bedroom It hasn't made any difference to the room temps and to be honest unless you are sitting or standing right in front of it you won't even feel it blowing on you.It is really just a small fan with a trickling noise and the water seems to be a feature rather than an actual difference maker. I can't tell any change between the cooling function and the humidifier and neither program appears to do anything different. I even tried putting the unit up on a desk to see if raising the height would improve performance but it made no difference either.I know you get what you pay for and proper air conditioning units are in the hundreds of £ but this product doesn't even seem to do a good job as a simple tower fan because unless you get very close to it you won't even know it's on.It's too low on the ground to be of much use on hot nights because unless you sleep on the floor or get it up higher you won't feel it on a bed height and even during the day it's not able to circulate cool air around a room to be of much use.Whatever your expectations or hopes are for this product lower them, because it really is nothing special at all and I would return it if it wasn't for the high cost of return postage.Avoid.
